Looking for BtS games

Game Experience: CIV IV BtS (not that expirienced, but really dedicated :D)
Favorite Civilizations: Portuguese (not that good), Ethiopian, Native Americans, India and Russia
Gaming-Style: Honorable, easy-going, & committed. (and please fun).

I'm new to Civ4 (though I think I'm pretty sharp!) and am looking for a PBEM or Pitboss game.

This will be my first MP Civ4 experience so as with most games I imagine there will be a period of sorting out the settings and whatnot so as to let me play. If anyone is willing to go through a first game with me, that'd be greatly appreciated!

I run on a schedule of my own choosing so most hours should be all right, as long as I have time to prepare.

Gaming-Style: In Civ, I'm not looking for a big battle royale, there are other games that handle warfare better. I can be expected to play every day, barring technical problems. Games shouldn't be obscenely long or slow, but shouldn't be like 6 players on a tiny map either.

Hi everyone. I'm new to PBEM/Pitboss games, though not new to multiplayer generally.

I would like to find either a Pitboss or PBEM game/s since I find the gamespy games not so satisfying (someone always quits or the game goes OOS and everyone quits).

Location: I am in GMT+11, and can have turns at least once per day, but easily more frequently.
Favorite Civilizations: Don't really mind, but I like using Churchill at the moment.

Looking For: Civ4 1.74 or Civ4 BTS 3.17, don't really care the map size. Any starting location is fine as well. I can probably do one or two turns a day, except on weekends. Maybe a turn or two both sat or sun. Weekends I'm out or working, or with the missus.

Gaming-Style: Easy-going. It's just a game. But I do like a bit of warfare. I may have a bit of a Khanian attitude toward world domination, so best add a few AI's in there too. :D

Substitution Availability: No idea. Never tried a PBEM, so newbie at that aspect.
 
The best way to find a PBEM game is to watch the thread and look for an announcement to start a game 'OR' start a thread yourself inviting players to a layout of your choice. Best games I have played are either; one on one games at the PBEM League or here in a 3 or 4 person game. Play with AIs or without. Expect to play only a turn a day except early in the game. On off days you might play 3 or 4 turns. For most it is best to require the players to post their sends on the game thread, so the turn is easy to find.
