Pre-flight: I note all the pretty glyphs on the map. Instructions are nice. 
Of course, I ignore them and change civics. 
1961: Setting up
1962: Karakorum falls.
1963: Samarqand and Sanchu fall.
1964: Radio kills the heliograph star. Start Demo. IIRC, I decide we don't need much more research and dump most of the treasury into culture.
1965: Ulaanbaatar, Kazan, New Sarai fall. How many crappy cities did Kahn build. jeez. Anyway, Khan finally is willing to throw in the towel and gives us fascism as icing on the cake.
Somewhere in there, Boston revolted. No problem.
