For, but there must be very very strict regulation. No cloning of humans except for medical purposes (eg to cure disease) and cloning of animals must be restricted. Finally, no cloning for military purposes.

I'm against the cloning of entire, live beings (with possible exceptions for extraordinary circumstances), but I support the cloning of organs/DNA or similar, for the purpose of science and the improvement of quality of life and health for all .

I think cloning is awesome. I don't think that we should use cloning for reproductive purposes, and I wouldn't mind criminalising such behaviour.

However, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to want to clone some of my cells someday, for therapies.

So if I have a girlfriend and she breaks up with me, and she's a really hot girl, I can take a sample of her skin and clone her and then love her again...
Of course I'm not really for full human cloning, but cloning of organs and cells for purposes of improving our lives, yes. But making a full, live clone that feels stuff like in those crappy movies and TV series... no, definitely not
