Comments about the Illians...

I noticed the Illians are going to be completed and playable in the upcoming Ice updates. Personally I'm excited about trying the Illians out, they are probably the only Evil Civilization that holds any interest to me. One thing I'd noticed though is that they posses the Agnostic trait, and that got me to thinking-- what if instead the Illians could research an exclusive tech that would grant them permission to the White Hand (If I remembered the name right.) religion?

I know the Illians aren't even playable yet, but I was curious whether an idea like this would work out better than simply sticking Auric with the Agnostic trait.

The White Hand was the worship of Mulcarn, who is dead so that religion wouldn't gain them much. We do have a temple for the Illians that replaces the pagan temple that offers them a nice perk and symbolizes that old religion.

They get most of the trappings of a religion, unique priests, a temple, extra heroes. But it isn't coded in as a new seperate religion that they could get others to adopt.

That's pretty interesting. Answers a lot of my questions about what makes the Illians unique, too! Can't wait to see them in action.

Basically you can look at the Illian rituals as re-establishing the power of their old religion bit by bit.

I'd still like confirmation that Illian Priest UUs won't be able to take on random religions from the cities where they are built and have spells of both one of the major religions and from Auric Ascended.
