Yes the vid is only DDR2. I need to upgrade.

I built this computer myself so I know the specs and parts I put in. I built it in March of 2009. The Mobo is a Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Sata with dual Bios. (I love this Mobo but will soon have to upgrade it too.) I could have put a quad core on but couldn't afford it back then (not that CIV IV would make any use of the extra cores).

Update, I installed .net framework 4 and now I load into game but I get a memory allocation error bad allocation within civ itself.

Well it held for 2 games I was able to get 5 turns in on one before a memory allocation error. Now it is back to the original ctd during loading screen. I'm downloading vs10 and the sp to see if it helps updating the runtimes :: shrug ::

Played from 880AD to 1310 AD with no CTDs! Only saved 3 times during play. I have no idea why it played better tonight than last 2 days, except I'm no longer in Prehistoric and Ancient Eras. I am playing on Epic speed this time.

I think it has to do with the terrain and the way animals can/cannot move that is having the problems and some just plain stalled in ONE tile, and is confusing the graphics allocation which then takes longer to adjust to and what to do, of course i am just throwing out ideas here, none have been identified "yet."

Next game I'll set my graphics down from high to medium to see if the Pre and Ancient Eras still have a non repeatable graphics problem.

1786AD in current game and Mod has been rock solid from Classical Era thru Ren. Era.

There is a graphics glitch somewhere in the ancient-classic period. I am getting it also.

It was mentioned by someone else and I get it too, when you Zoom out from main screen Mod CTDs. Just before you get Planet view.

Started a new game with Debug enabled and got these 5 errors at start up (see screenie).

I also lowered my graphics settings to medium. 1 CTD so far around 10800BC. Had just finished Oral Tradition and had went thru the anarchy turn for the Civic change. Next turn the CTD occurred.

Those errors are from Subdued Animals mod and are notifications only. I should make that more clear I suppose.

For example I have not yet released the subdued duck XML but I have put it in the code so I don't have to release the code again. It will just not subdue a duck.

Similarly you have the Sabretooth Tiger turned off so I need to ignore it in the code.

What's it look like? If its not too bad I do not see why it could not be added since humans and Sabetooth Cats lived at the same time. Note there is actually no such thing as a Sabertooth "Tiger".

It looks like a large female lion with large teeth. The name is as in the mod I got it from (Roamty's animal mod) because it does not look like a Smilodon which I can't spell anyway. ;)

I used whatever it is that win has to change screenshots. Am I proficient with it, heck No! So I scribble on the screenies with terrible mouse writing. :p
