Ok,

I found 2 mods that appear to have been causing issues. I upgraded to the newest version and had only the buildings and a couple other mods enabled. It appears the mods GameOptions (enables all hidden options) and Beyond the Future aren't compatible with CCTP. Is it possible for you to take some elements of Beyond the Future to add into CCTP? I know I would at least like to get the units from the mod to use. I also noticed when I checked IGE that you've added a few new eras which is pretty awesome and probably explains why BTF doesn't work. Again, would like to see the units added from that mod though. I'm still being cautious as to what mods I can use. At least I can use my modded civ and IGE, which is a start. I'm going to try a couple other mods that might be incompatible. I wish this game had a load order like there is in other games like Fall Out and Elder Scrolls. There wouldn't be as many incompatibilities then I would think. This mod would simply overwrite the incompatibilities.

Enable your logs and start a game with the mods.
Then please upload the logs, so i might can tell you what issues there are.




As many mods as possible isnt anything i would suggest for playing with CCTP.

Even the current version (and the next version will be probably more incompatible with other mods), changes so many core files, that any other mod that changes the same files isnt compatible.

Sorry i cant help you more without the logs, my time is very rar, and so many of my remaining time is consumed by working on the missing parts for the final version.

So i highly doubt that you will miss the Beyond the Future mod.

Also iam currently working on finishing the buildings/Wonders.
There are so many future buildings and wonders that i cant list them all.
To make it clear the last two eras have more then 120 Technologies and nearly all units from the BE game.
We have convert them to CiV, also we use the warhammer 40k units and so on.

And last but not least we have a bunch of new future improvements like arcology and solar park.

Anyway CCTP is not compatible with mods that change/add technologies, add new units and alter the policies.

For the listed ones we delete all entries and add the CCTP ones.

Also we have a bunch of lua features that alters the vanilla ones, and this can also causes issues....
 
I'm really looking forward to seeing the next update then. Having the units from BE in Civ 5 will be awesome :cool: but what about the stats? Will they be modified to reflect the progress made in this game with extremely high stats?

Could I get a list of all the wonders and buildings added by CCTP? Apparently there are quite a few mods I have that conflict with CCTP which leads me to believe they must exist already in CCTP. I'm trying to add wonders and buildings that aren't part of CCTP and having a CTD due to a wonder or building mod is quite annoying when I'm not sure what has been added in CCTP (I have alot of mods that consist only of buildings or wonders, having The Ancients as my civilization comes as a great advantage for building wonders).
 
For my part, there have been several scripts added to help with certain balance issues, and an entire new event system that has both random events, and decisions the player must make, along with other new features and systems.

Gigla has been working on the xml related stuff, but we are both quite bust with other stuff going on, so we'll try to get done as soon as possible.

I was just watching the Yogscast Jingle Jam Stream, which is why I'm only checking this now, they were playing Civ V actually.

If you reffer to manual writing then you're correct, I doubt there's a person on this planet insane enough to do such a thing ;]

I seem to have found a game breaking bug, My city thinks that MY cavemen are barbarians. So when I make a tribal hut (or whatever it's called) it crashes my game as the "barbarians" are in my city when that should be impossible according to the game. I'm using the hotfix which may be the problem, and yes I'm using the latest build of 4.05
 
hows the current version? see it haven't been updated in a while. Is there many bugs, or is it pretty good ?

This is a DLL related bug!
It appairs when you restart the game to often or due a save mechanic.
Make sure you use the latest version of the DLL version released so far.

All our effort is going for the next release, most of the reported bugs will then be fixed.
Until that there is only the working version, and this version contains still some issues.
 
Okay thanks, think i will just wait for the next update then! This seem to just be getting better and better!
 
I'm having a serious problem with respect to resource discovery. They simply do not exist! For example, when I research a technology that theoretically reveal a feature on the map, but does not reveal (and does not exists)! This is affecting a little fun in the mod. To get a sense of the problem, I finished antiquity with only 2 resources discovered: Bison and Ambar! Any solution to this problem? (sorry for bad english)
 
Many of the new resources also require a policy to be revealed. I think this was implemented to give more importance to policy decisions. Also, I don't think there are a lot of resources in the prehistoric era, Gilga may be adding more for next release.

If it is vanilla resources you are not seeing, then please post your logs, as there may be a problem.
