This will be the culprit. The latest version of Civ V is 1.0.3.279. The game should be updating automatically from Steam, but apparently something went wrong for you. I am sure you can somehow force the update from the Steam App. If not, you can reinstall the game.

Just tried this out. Something broke - Civ didn't crash, but the top bar of the interface wasn't displaying properly, and the tech tree didn't exist when it was time to choose research. I wasn't able to make it to turn 2.

I don't know...did you? Depends on whether or not you are using EUI - if you are using EUI, make sure to install the copy of EUI I have linked into your DLC folder.

*double checks everything* ...actually, it appears I did do one part wrong.
This was my first experience with EUI, and I assumed that it could go into the MODS folder like everything else. It doesn't, and now I know that.

No worries! EUI goes in the DLC folder - once you do that, and enable everything, you should be good to go! Have fun!

Weird Steam didn't notify me. But I see it. I'll see if this clears up the problem.
Compatibility for CP changed to game version 1 to 1? I can't select any of the mods now (since all require CP). Please update.

I see that the dialogue w/ world leaders while asking them how they "feel" about one another has been wiped out. That or I did something wrong. Was wondering if I can add Whoward's Various mods or no? Also one last question, would it be possible if I were load these mods Via JdH's Mod Manager so they could be enabled in multiplayer? Any who, I just want to say thank you for these mods, they are so much more superior than the originals. Also if you're taking donations for you excellent work let me know!

That should be in place (the dialog with world leaders thing). If not, it sounds like a lua file is overwriting the EUI file. I'll look at a solution.

Hey Gazebo, I was just wondering if I was missing something but when I download the CBP file I do not see a compatibility mod for Health and Plague. Is this just an oversight on my part? It says that I need to install all three folders but I only have two, the base CBP mod and the More Luxuries compatibility mod. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Wow, apologies I just realized that you had moved the Compatibility patch to the Health and Plague download. The instillation instructions make it seem like it should be with the CBP download. Sorry about that I jumped the gun in asking for help lol.
