You can not do these actions to my knowledge. The dll of the Community Patch is the reason for this, because it injects several different things and CIV V has a special procedure to process this data. Moreover it is not recommended to do these actions, nor to load a save game while being in game. This can break the Mod in you session then or will result in a CTD.one thing strangely when I click Restart on turn one to get a different starting area the game always crashes
EDIT: same when I go to main menu
EDIT: also crashes when I load a game from an existing game

Hotfix uploaded for CP, CBP and compatibility files. Fixes a compiler error and two small oversights. Should be savegame compatible, though clear your cache. If your save game crashes with the new CBP, use the previous CBP with this version of the CP and you should be good to go.

EUI does not appear to be working with download. Tried it a few times, deleting and reinstalling and verifying cache. Everything displays across the top as 000,000 and unable to click help or menu buttons. Guessing it was an issue with the update as these worked with the previous version I was using.
I'm not sure you're doing the steam thing but it sounds like that from what you said.
Im unable to find the fix you mentioned before. Ive tried both verifying via steam, and just clearing the cache manually. Neither seems to help. Ive tried them on fresh installs of the mod pack individually and in tandem. If you are no longer on your phone, or if someone else can link me to the fix you mentioned, I would greatly appreciate it.
Ok, I am on my computer now. Actually the fix in this thread, just scroll back to post #1151. Are you getting the same top panel as seen in the screenshot? If yes, then I am pretty sure your steam/Civ5 folder is different from default. You have make sure EUI goes to the right folder when you install CBP. Follow my and Estebanium's posts after #1151.
Just to clarify, verifying the game via steam and clearing the cache are 2 completely different things. You do not have to verify the game via Steam unless you think your Civ5 installation is corrupted. However you should always delete the contents of the cache and ModUserData folders after installation of a new version of CBP.
Let me know if the fix worked for you. If not, we can try to fix it together step by step.
One possibility is that the game is installed on my E drive, while the mods and everything pertaining to them is on my C drive, but it was that way before so I dont see how that would cause an issue.
I am pretty sure this is the reason. Can you find EUI (= "UI_bc1") in this folder?
E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\assets\DLC\UI_bc1
... or does the folder structure at least look like this?
E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\assets\DLC\
When you run the auto-install, you will be prompted for the MODs folder (this is where CBP goes) and the game/DLC folder (this where EUI goes). Did you update the game folder from drive C: (default) to E:?
(Also, I attempted to run the installation of the EUI to the E drive DLC folder, still got the same graphical error.)
