Iirc DOC is incompatiable with multiplayer. In theory won't mind something like PBEM/Pitboss game on Normal, but sincerely doubt it's possible or reasonable.Less of an idea, more of a really stupid thought experiment. How long it would take to play an entire marathon-speed multiplayer game of DOC?
Let's assume an average of 30 civs alive at any time, every civ is human controlled, each turn takes an average of one minute, and that everyone playing can get together for about 4 hours every week to play.
It would take: 1690 turns X 30 players X one minute a turn / 8 hours a week = 4 years and 4 weeks.
