Noobish question ... Where in Speedfan is the option to change the speed of the fan? I tried changing Speed01, Speed02, all of those but nothing happens.
Also my GPU is at 66 C/149 F. That seems a little high?!

It sounds logical, and it is. Research your decisions, know how to reinstall windows, and learn by doingDebug Dump Files. I'm using Windows Vista, if that helps.
Freecell is fairly benign. Also, what are safe things to do on a computer while its hard drive is defragging?
No, but you could get to the point where you need almost no thermal paste, which is good as the stuff has thermal resistance. So does anyone "lap" their cpu/cpu cooler contact surfaces?
What's TIM?the curvature is also very small and nothing that some good TIM cant fix.
A version of it is free.
Anyway, I was using Disk Cleanup and I was wondering whether it was safe to delete the Debug Dump Files. I'm using Windows Vista, if that helps.

Thermal interface material, I think. What's TIM?
Hai guys.
I'm trying to type Unicode on my laptop, but I have no number pad or numlock. How can I bypass this and type in Unicode characters? I'm running Ubuntu and XP; solutions for either system would be helpful.
(Please, don't tell me to copy and paste characters or select them from a template.)![]()

Yeah, I googled it, I guess I should've asked: why are so many of these running when I first boot? They're eating a ton of ram and I can't understand what they could possibly be doing. Do I just need to plod through and disable stuff? I don't know what the different things have to do.![]()
Why would a portable CD player start "clicking" and require to stop and play again upon quickly changing songs? Happens quite a bit; I'm thinking the motor got seized up but wouldn't that be more permanent?
Laser tracking?
