Yup. They declared war on us. Once we end or expansion we can declare peace and build up.

lurker's comment: So long as you have an early war opportunity with iron, mass the cities making barracks->swords->swords->swords->swords ... and make a settler to prevent riots where it's necessary. It'll grab you a whole lot of land and perhaps open new war opportunities just after. Don't be afraid to overkill your troop count, it's no overkill as long as there's more kills to do over another border

1475- Settler Built, move him to iron up north. Make a few trades to give us the tech lead.

1450- Boring

1425- Boring

1400- Aztecs want peace, so i give it to them, costing them 38 gold.

1375- Boring

1350- Iron connected, upgrade a vet warrior to sword for 40 gold.

1325- Viking Coast built, starts work on a worker.

1300- Ivory Backscratcher builds a settler, which is sent south to near the whale and ivory.

1275- Nothing noteworthy

1250- BOring

1225- Defeat a barb

1200- Boring.
