I played this map and beat it almost a hundred turns before quint as the celts. :(

Not as many stlye points though... :(

It may just be my computer, but none of the images are showing anymore. It just shows a photobucket logo.

Judging by Quint's silence and the new oddities with the images, I deduce that he is either experiencing computer issues, or has simply postponed the next update due to a problem with his photobucket account.

Sorry for the delays. Real life became work laden, and right after that reduced somewhat it became interesting again, and the result is not having that much time for Civilization. I played a turn about a week ago, and edited the images this weekend, but am still working on an update. The text file needs considerable revising to keep up the quality (I played the turn over two sessions and the writing styles from the two don't mesh at all), and then there's uploading the photos. It's going to be a rather large update - in all likelihood a quad-post update. I'll try to get the posts up in as little time as possible from each other, but there's still a 30-second minimum between posts, so wait a few minutes after the update is posted to make sure there aren't any further posts in it before posting.

It does appear that I've hit the Photobucket bandwidth limit. There is one section I uploaded to Googlepages instead a few months ago; if I get the next update up soon I'll put it on Googlepages as well. Photobucket resets on February 2nd (for my account), so pictures will start appearing again then. I don't have the means of payment to upgrade to Pro, and I'm not uploading 1000+ photos to ImageShack just so they appear for four days, so until February 2nd the current images will be nonappearant. I saw this coming for awhile, though, and will admit to using the impending bandwidth limit as an excuse for focusing on real life instead of Civ.

As for the next update, really, it depends on when I'm back in the mood for working on it. Work really did prevent me from working on it last week, but social life as well as various other interests also works to prevent me from working on this (and sometimes offers more than adequate enticements to succeed). Not to mention that I have been writing this for almost ten months - it's certainly fun, but it's kind of like your favorite class - you like it and enjoy it, but sometimes you just need a break from it. But sure as the break is enjoyable, jumping back into it will be as well, when the time feels right for it. I don't think that will be especially long, but I'm not sure it will be especially soon, either. In the meantime, it would be wise to listen to Chieftess ;).
