I will say one thing, the Republican party did act in a racist way in Florida in the run up to the 2000 election in regards to the whole vote rigging thing.

And the Democrats acted in a wholly anti-American way by trying to disenfranchise members of the military, stationed overseas and voting absentee.

they were probably republicans, democrats are anti racism HELLO!!

Well obviously you know much better than him who he meets and their political affiliation.

Affirmative action actually creates more hatred against minorities. If someone's boss is an african-american, that person will think his boss only got the job because hes african-american.

Is the south a republican stronghold? YES! NEXT!

I believe it was a Republican president who led the Union in the civil war against the Confederate south, HELLO!!!!

he was a liberal. Republcians and the democrats switched philosohpies already, trying to compare them to modern times is anachronistic

America moved "decisively to the Right" in the past 30 years...?
Of course. Youre telling me a backlash to the Leftist 60s isnt clear in late 20th century American politics?

thank god we're seeing a backlash to that

then we can have another backlash to that, and to that, and to that, etc.

conadeleza is jsut being used as a figurehead to try to mislead americans into thinking that Repbulicans actualyl care about black people, it's all just a scheme

One day you will grow up and you will see the errors of your ways.

what goes around comes around. 2010 si going to be another social revolution. if you look at history it is liberal-conservative-liberal-conservative, let me break it down:

1920s - conservativ
1930s -
1940s - liberal
1950s - conservative
1960s -
1970s - liberal
1980s-
2000s- conservative
2010s- :D :D :D :D

so just wait till bush's presidnecy is over, welcome your new democratic president and get ready for a big change. I predict anti-gay marriage legislation is going to go first, then stem cells, etc.

or become a suicide bomber for the "freedom fighters"

how were the 20s conservative

ever read a history book?

No, I've seen us go steadily to the extreme left since the 1960s. For example, the concern that the ethnic composition of America would be drastically altered was still a legitimate concern on the floor of the U.S. Senate in 1965. Today if someone even implied such a thing, such an evil "racist" nazi would never have a chance winning national office. Today we have homosexual "marriage," open borders (including free trade), affirmative action quotas, abortion, feminism, a federalized marxist "education" system, new "gun control," loss of Christian faith, rise of secular corporate power, and a justice system where black murderers are allowed to walk the streets unpunished. And its all been brewing the past 30 years...

just build yourself a time machine and make everyone like you

if you dont like the 21st century, it doesnt like you

edit: you really need to get laid

Wow, I learned something. But my point about affirmative action still stands :p

All of commies ridiculous arguments have been shot down and i have nothing to add. But why do you genuinly feel the republican party is racist?

Plenty of blacks are republican, its just not as common. And yes there are black republican politicians besides condoleeza rice.

I dont see the republican party as racist just misguided.

at least democrats have programs to help minorities.

Like social programs that feed and give jobs to the poor. If the republicans were in power they would get rid of all fo that. What sthe dael against Affirmitive Action. You big wigs repbuilcians dont understand that black people are living in poverty that YOU created for them, only by lettin them on their feet can they rebuild their society taht YOU destroyed with your racism.

it's like putting a blak child in a race against a white child, and then shooting him int he foot and saying "go" . you think that's fair? black people are behind white people and they desevre affirmitive afctions.

what do you mean "if" the republicans are in power? they are in power right now! The President of the US is a Republican, both houses of Congress have a Republican majority and Bush recently appointed 2 Justices to the Supreme Court who agree with his philosiphies. so, who's in power again?

Seriously, think about it.
Alright.
They want to get rid of Affirmitive Action to keep the blacks "in line"
Actually, as I view affirmative action to be nothing more than the government saying "We know you are incapable of performing as well as others because of your race, we're going to give you help", I see IT as the racist institution. My opposition to it is a very normal reaction to such a racist policy.
They don't want hard working Mexican migrants to come here
I welcome as many migrants as the laws say can come here. As long as they come legally.
Not to mention that the republcians major voting block is the SOUTH, hmm who would have thought?
I'm rather curious what you think the south has to do with racism. Would you like me to give you links to the massive race riots that the north had during the civil war? Would you like me to give you links to the massive race riots in 1968 in the north? I can go on if you'd like. Do you honestly, truly think that the south is more racist than the north?
Republicans always use racial strategies to win elections
I would actually phrase that as "many politicians of many stripes will use whatever strategy they can think of to win an election". Just FYI though, I'm a conservative, not a Republican. Though I've frequently voted Republican in the past, I very much doubt I will in 2008. Oh, and I voted for Clinton in 1992, and voted for Skelton every two years until I was redistricted out of his district.
and it's no secret that the republican party is esstentially the white christian party.
I'm sure the millions of minorities who have voted Republican in the past will be surprised to hear that.
Why's this the case? why do peopel do these hanous acts?
I too frequently wonder why people do these henious acts, such as starting threads like these when it's clearly not true. Okay, okay, that's a stretch. A silly thread is hardly a henious act, I admit.

Has anyone realised that "Commie #4522"'s first post was a troll thread pretty much stating that Communism was good, with no support, and now he (I'll assume he, considering "his" posting patterns) posts another obvious troll thread.

His name indicates that he signed up for the purpose of doing this.

I think we should have the guy checked for a double login, then warned. I rarely post in political threads (I rarely post anyway), but this has got to stop.
