Now that I've gotten the Tingle Tuner, learned most of it's commands, and (possible spoiler) found Tingle's Island and done his quests, how is he evil again?

He's a slave driver! Those poor guys have to turn the tower forever...:ack:

Anyway, I'm up to Ganon's Tower right now in Wind Waker. I must say, it is a b*tch to do!

***SPOILER****

Damn...you have to fight the bosses again???. And I don't even want to know if there is more after it...

***END SPOILER***

OK, spoiler over. ;)

Wouldn't it be funny if I quoted your spoiler, and someone would read it? That'd defeat the purpose of putting tons of lines in between.

Okay, now that I see how much he charges to

*spoiler*
decode those triforce charts (398 rupees?!?)
*end spoiler*

I say he is indeed evil! Also what's really annoying is to be sidling against a wall when the other person controlling Tingle "calls" you. But I guess that depends on who you chose to control Tingle...

BTW, I'm only on the Earth Temple (fourth, in case you started with Wind). I'm taking it slow, doing sidequests and wandering around.

Correction. I believe Japan hogs all good RPGs. I know of many quality RPGs, (mostly made by Square), that haven't been released anywhere else. There was a petition around once somewhere to try and persuade them to release them. Don't think it worked though. :(

I'll have you know that Square never left. They are still developing games for ps2 and others. FFXI and FFXII are in development for ps2. (And pc in FFXIs case.)
[/B]

I'll second the first part. There have been a few petitions over the years, but in vain. Japanese gamers have shown that they'll buy millions of a good RPG, American gamers will buy thousands. It just isn't worth the effort for them.

About the second part, I meant they left their rightful home at Nintendo. I've read an article which claimed that Square was the reason the Playstation took off. Older gamers wanted Final Fantasy, and so were willing to buy the thing, leading them to buy other games for the system. Younger gamers followed suit, since kids' idea of "coolness" often comes from older siblings. Hard to say how true that is, though.

Well, I beat Wind Waker. I must say, Ganon's Tower is extremely tough to beat. Because, you see....

***SPOILER****

After you beat the 4 bosses, there is that REALLY annoying maze where you have to fight Shadow Ganon OVER AND OVER!!! Luckily you can go back to the world - I went to a fairy island and refilled my bottle with fairies. Then you have to fight Puppet Ganon, Spider Ganon, and then Snake Ganon. They were easy up until Snake Ganon - he was VERY hard. I mean...you have to shoot his tail with dead aim, no targeting!! And he goes so fast!! Anyway, after that you fight Ganon on the roof...:D :D :D I must say, that is possibly the best boss fight EVAR! ;) Seriously, it was awesome to do a swordfight with him...Now I'll start the second quest. :)

****END SPOILER****

OK, enough of those for now. ;)

EDIT: I only had 11 hearts when I beat him, so the Second Quest will be my "perfect" game where I get all 20.

All 20 eh? Good luck :p

I would do that after I beat the game, but I don't have time for that kind of stuff.

Oh yeah, E3 is coming up. Here's what looks like the current lineup for Nintendo:

I'd get other companies, but I'm too lazy ;)

Ah right. Somehow I doubt that article. Theres plenty of other games out there that people could have bought a playstation for.

http://top100.ign.com/

This is very interesting, IGN's top 100 games of all time. Although personally I don't like how PC games are included, it's still pretty interesting. It also exposes how worked up Xbox fanboys get because Halo only got #39 while SSBM and Waverace64 beat it, those Xbox fanboys are really mad over at GameFAQs.

The original Mario Bros got #1, OoT got #2. I'm happy enough. Surprised that Final Fantasy II is on there instead of Final Fantasy VII, I thought Final Fantasy II was the least liked. Oh well, I've never played a Final Fantasy game before anyway.

E3 week begins!
And already strange stuff is going on.
Sony has it's new handheld, PNP (playstation portable). Very powerful, but sucks up battery life. I can kind of see it having the same life as the Gamegear. Anyways, I'm actually kind of happy about it, force Nintendo to start working to keep it's grip on the handheld industry steady.
http://ps2.ign.com/articles/402/402220p1.html

That's about it without supplying countless links that you can fish out yourself. ;)

PNP won't work. GBA has outsold PS2; for PNP to be a success, Sony would have to beat themselves at their own game!

If GameBoys continue their path, the next one will probably be in a few years, and it will have the power of an N64! *drool*

PNP has awesome potential. To release a 32-bit handheld, cheaply, and just one holiday season before Nintendo releases its next in the Game boy line will make a huge dent in the market.

I know I'll be buying one :goodjob:.

First off, what is PNP?

Second off, the top 100 thing mentioned is a load of crap. It is way to nintendo-biased. Sonic should be way further up the list, as should final fantasy 7 (was it even on that?) and games like Track and field should be bumped way down. Halo, also, should be very high on the list.

I do agree, though, with the placement of such games like Baldurs Gate, Chrono Trigger, and Starcraft.

Read my above post. If Sony can price it within the same price range as the GBA, then it'll stand a chance because it's sony. But it should have an AC adapter, sounds like the PNP will suck up batteries faster than Gamegear. But if it has an AC Adapter, what's the point of making it a handheld? It's just a miniture console. If it has a rechargable battery like the SP, it'll probably last an hour before it burns out, and takes an hour to recharge.
But even if all those people buy the PNP just because it's by Sony, the good thing is that it'll actually hold a threat to Nintendo's "monopoly" on the handheld industry, forcing Nintendo work a lot harder. Then again, it sounds very expensive, if it's anywhere near the price range of the GBA, then Sony will lose mony faster than Xbox is losing money for Microsoft...

If you read their front page, you'll see that they based it mostly on impact on the industry. Sonic indeed should be higher up, but he wasn't too innovative as far as industry was concerned. FFVII I think wasn't on there because it was mostly hype, I think FFII made Square big. These are just my guesses, I'm not an IGN insider ;)

I heard PNP will be in the hundred(s) price range. Which is ridiculous for a handheld. I'd rather by PS2 if it was priced around the same as PNP!
