Constitution: Proposal to add into admendment 5 of the COL

There is no chain of command, so no turnchats.

The suggested words need "and appoint" (or something) adding which will then allow for a confirmation poll.

A simple way may just be to open up nominations for a bit longer, as several people were under the impression that CT had accepted and were happy to let her take the reins. They may have been willing to step forward if it would prevent the office being vacant. The nominations also closed early, the Empty office thread was posted at 20:43, CT declined at 20:31, not giving a lot of time for people to step in.

The outgoing President may also be quicker as it would not have to wait for the new Judiciary to enter office.

I sense that this would be answered in a JR. Though my feeling is that the president is traditionaly responsible for scedualing turnchats. ATM we dont have a set order for a Chain of Command. Since no one ran for president, we dont have a vice president. Unofficaly, the Domestic Affairs would be the subsitute untill a president is confurmed. But again Domestic too is empty and External affairs would be the subsitute. I say unofficaly because we dont have a set organization of the CoC.

I was actually proposing a new section.... What to do in the event that there's no president, how would the turnchat get posted. My proposal was (I guess you didn't see the rhetoric), "The instruction thread would be posted by the next in CoC".

EDIT: And I thought we always put the CoC in the constitution...

Nominations already ran a whole day longer than there suppose to.

We dont have a set CoC in the constitution in the current verson. It was removed back in demogame 5. Since then the power to establish the CoC has been given to the president. Even our former Demogamers has said it

We have never officialy added a piece of law introducing a piece of law. Up untill now we gave the power of establishing the CoC to the President.

I even tried back in Demogame 5 to bring back the CoC into the consitution, but apperently it did not take off because the three justices at the time verbily against the CoC before it even went to the proposal poll stage. Since then I never bothered to bring it back since it would be more of a headache trying to convince that the CoC is a good thing to have.

Ah, OK, so I can't count :crazyeye: can't use that as a method of solving it then.

PS: The comment was in no way meant as a criticism, more of looking for an opportunity.

This is an interesting problem. How about Chieftess flaunts the WOTP and ends the current game by domination and then we can have a post-game CC and start talking about the next one.

:joke: about the CC part...
