The Delaware Official Army to be created
Our towns and villages, greatest in the world, lay open to attack by any nation who deems themselves willing enough too. And yet our government to this point has done nothing to stop it. Well, all that has ended with the new reign of Prime Minister Segai, who has ordered the creation of a National Defensive force, comprising of many men from our own neighborhoods. These men will be trained by the best combat trainers in Delaware, and be given weapons of the newest design, should be the best in the world. Along with the creation of the army, new army bases and small forts will be erected throughout the country to serve as a base for the seperate forces that will operate throughout all of Delaware. The national army shall be under strict control of the Prime Minister, who will appoint himself the generals of the army and the Lieutenants.
The Creation of the National Navy
The National Navy, alongside the National Army will be created to better protect Delaware's colonies from ungrateful nations of America. The navy will be comprised of the best ships in the world, and with steady funds will soon rule the waves. It is promoted by our own Prime Minister, who says "the way to rule the world is to rule the seas." To with hold the new naval expansion, the Prime Minister has also given money to help form Port Companies that will be designed to help rebuild some of Delaware's worn down ports. The newly remodeled ones should serve the purpose of harboring, creating, and repairing all of the navy.
Southampton to be Greeted by Friendly Natives
The natives of the Southampton area, near the new fort constructed a little more then half a decade ago, are showing their gratitude for the protection of the Delaware troops that are stationed in the fort. A chief of one of the many tribes that live of the land there has presented many presents from his tribes that it took four boats to bring it back to Delaware. They were full of animal furs and ocean pearls, amounted to near 30,000 Dels on the market. For such a nice deal, the men in the fort have asked Congress to allow the natives under Chief Churchill to remain independent and not be overrun by future armies. The Congress is still in debate about this issue, but we'll be sure to report back as soon as they have made a final decision.
Colonial Barges sent off
With the modernization of Port Baltimore, a new fleet of colonial ships, loaded with supplies and colonial men who will serve in the forts, were sent off for the outlying area near Southampton. One fort is sent to settle London, a city along the river named Thames by the natives, and which is quite near to Southampton. Another fort will be established on a peninsula that is across a sea nicknamed the "North Sea" and will serve as a frontier fort for many of the next explorers and conquerers.
