Core

Unconscious man wakes up. Seems to talk to himself? Guy comes out of house. Crazy guy picks up other guy and walks off. What the hell.

Vasiliy calmed himself down. The girl was still there, and the occasion was weird as anything he'd ever seen. Either way, nobody had seemed to notice him and the Don, so he continued on walking towards the Bruíké club.

Mikaere clearly wasn't excited to see them.
"What are you doing here? This isn't Russian territory, and there's nothing for you here!"

Vasiliy was put off by the man's immediate rudeness. But these kinds of people were more common than not in the bad parts of town, and having lived in one for his entire life, he quickly recovered. He put on a forceful tone, saying, "This is not Russian business but Italian. Giustino Alessandri has told me to tell you to come to his headquarters, along with me, Mr. Vassiliev, and his son. And I wouldn't say you have much choice in the matter. For what, I cannot say. We are as much in the dark as you."

"I don't care about how it tastes. As if I could feel it. My throat is burning!" He suddenly realised he had drunk nothing since he had finished the bottle. "Do you have water, or something? I'm so thirsty..."

Mikaere muttered.

"Fine. When? Tomorrow?"

Spoiler :
Both dons told you they wanted to be done talking "by morning".

Vasiliy looked down for a second, then back at the man. "Today. If we want to meet his exact time, we ought to leave now before the sun comes up any higher."

"Yeah, there is a little bit of water in this bottle"
He gave Ray the bottle.
"I hope that dog went for Jose and never just ran off."

Geoff:

The man grinned, and turned down the tunnel.
"Let's see just what you can figure out."

Vasiliy:
Mikaere stared, dumbfounded.
"What on Earth could possibly be going on that requires all of us tonight?"

Grumbling, the man followed them into the center of the city.

Geoffrey carefully followed the man, who had the solitary light source, a small candle, in his hand. A chill ran down Geoffrey's spine when the man said "Let's see just what you can figure out". But, Geoffrey braced himself, intent on getting out alive, no matter what.

The coughing man slowly led Geoffrey through the tunnels, until he reached appeared to be a large opening, and blocked the door.

"Last chance to leave, kid. Once you go in, everything changes."

Vasiliy muttered under his breath, "Hell if I know," and went off. He remembered the penthouse he was held in, and knew the building he had to have been in. The group entered Italian lands, and Vasiliy was becoming more and more nervous. The minutes spent walking seemed to stretch out in his mind, and he just wanted to run off and go back home. But he couldn't. He was stuck in this for now, for better or for worse. As he arrived at the building, he looked at the guards in the eyes. He spoke up, false bravado hiding his fear, "Your Don has requested us to meet him here and now."

The man extingusged Geoff's torch, and led him blindly into the room. A striking sound was heard, and flames raced around the walls - a mural, once obviously a great work of art.
In the center of the room, a young man stepped forwards, muttering.
"Who are you? And don't bother asking me, either."

Alessandri leaned back, frowning. This certainly was an eclectic group.

"So. Viktor. What was it you wanted to speak to me about?"

The Russian don leaned forwards. "You tell me why I'm here, first!"

Alessandri grinned. "I believe I am in control of this situation, no? Regardless, you'll want to speak first, after you hear me."

Viktor glared. "There's something changing in Core. A man's been running around, talking about the Black Snakes. Care to explain why that name's coming back up?"

The younger man smiled at Geoff.

"It's a great big hole in the ground, can't you see that? What it is is less important than where it is."

The man hesitated for a moment, then pointed above him.
"That big old harbor in Core? The one you can't go past? It's right above your head, held up by a thin ceiling of rock."

A man came running past the house, screaming for help.
"Help! Anyone there?"
He came in the house.
"Hello?"
He sounded shaky. His voice was Russian. Russian Mafia thought Joseph.
As soon as he stepped in, Joseph tackled him to the floor, and held him there.
On top of the Russian, fist ready to pummel his face in the ground, Joseph asked:
"Who the hell are you? What do you want? Russian scumbag!"

OOC: Its up to you Civ

Joseph

"Zhirkov Valin, and you better watch it! There's something going down outside, people are dying en masse!"

Geoff

A thud rang above them, and a whirring sound began.

The man frowned.

"I need you to find out how to stop that. And if you don't, everyone in - and under - Core will die."
