Question and/or bug report.

Information: Ethiopia, Epic, Running Environmentalism.

As you can see here, it lists my corporation cost as 61.10 for the HQ in the maintenance overview.

Here it lists the cost as 30.

The question: Is this meant to be the after courthouse cost of the corporation of the before?

In the second panel it is showing the maintenance costs after allowing for courthouses, etc.

I don't know but that doesn't make any sense to me. As you can see in the first picture they list all the expenses as they are (Sid's Sushi with 61,10) and substract all the courthouse, ect. values from the total as you can see with the 34,30, but that not only includes the maintanace cost for the corporation, but also for the whole city.

The second screen just shows what Sid's Sushis advantages/disadvantages are. Meaning Sid's Sushi always gives you + :food: & + :culture: but - :commerce: for every resource it uses. And that's what you see on the second screen.

One word, just one word: Inflation :p
It has been ramped up immensely so the second panel does not account for anything - just raw income generated. The first one shows maintenance after couthouses AND inflation - If you look at the financial adviser its is probably at 100+ % already...

What's the problem? Your total city maintenance costs, before the courthouse, are 68.60gpt. Of that, 61.10 is from corporation maintenance. The courthouse halves all maintenace costs, giving a total maintenance cost of 34.30gpt. Of that 30.55gpt is due to corporations. Only 3.75gpt is due to city maintenance. The top right display doesn't go to decimal places, so it rounds down like the old ones, giving a corporate cost listing of 30gpt in the top right panel. I can't see any problem here.

The top right panel shows the gold cost of the corporation allowing for courthouses (though it doesn't show decimal places). The top left panel shows total maintenance cost for the city, and a breaksown of where it comes from.

Not true. Neither panel here makes any allowance for inflation. The only place where your costs adjusted for inflation are listed is in the economic advisor, and that is not broken down by city. The actual cost of the corporation will be higher than the value shown anywhere in the city screen due to inflation.

Now that you wrote more then one sentence I also understand what you mean ;) Sorry my mistake.

Thanks for the feedback. I just thought it was weird that it showed the modified price in the overview. The large cost doesn't really matter that much, because the benefits, at least for sid's and mining in my experience, out weigh those costs. Take it easy. Diplomacy victory.
