COTM 04 100k Culture

Which score is used to calculate the Jason score? Is it the histographic score (ie. the average score of all your turns) or a score based on land area and citizens on your final turn?

The histographic score is used. We subtract the victory bonus that's added in-game, which is only dependent on date and difficulty, and replace it with a Jason victory bonus related to the victory type as well. Then we normalise this total to 10,000 by multiplying it by 10000/best_score, where best_score is based on the map land area and food resources.

Though civ_steve already backed me up, I can give you a save if you want, though I do not know how much good that would do. I guess I should have realized that the doubling wouldn't happen though, because ToA temples do not show up on the Cultural Advisor screen. But anyway, I remember noting my capture of Washington and ToA in 150 BC and expected my culture to receive a boost at 850 AD. Instead, my cpt only went up by twelve because of libraries I had rushed.

I can back you up, too...
ToA temples disappear with Education. So, you shouldn't expect the doubling (a lot of newbies posted the diasappearance as a bug, but this is intended).
But you can still go on building temples that you have already started, when you got the ToA. But you can't start build new temples up to Education.

I was aware of the disappearance, which is why it is 880AD and I still haven't researched Education. But thanks anyway.

I think we will get a lot of 100k culture victories (see my post on page 8 of spoiler 1) as temple of Artemis + fast growing Civ = easy culture, and besides you can get to cavalry without education (although not communism, which would be very handy)
