covid oopsies

The end.

You jest, but there is a real, non-negligible chance that these buffoons do indeed plunge us into another global/national pandemic. There is always some potential pandemic springing up somewhere in the world. The US usually does not succumb because of competent management. Without competent, responsible people in charge, we are once again vulnerable to the next big pandemic.
Ol' Brainworms is going after fluoride as well as vaccines, right? It's amazing how much better luck I've had with my teeth than the previous generation of genetics. But people watch the Kardashians, soooo

He's a distraction. There's no telling whether he even gets confirmed, let alone what he will or won't do afterwards.

On the teeth front we do seem to be doing better than lots of places... but speaking of the folks on TV... they get those veneers put in so...

I just have a bad feeling about how popular his particular rot is.

I've had too many conversations with people who bring up "chemicals on farms" as something they care deeply about. "Oh? Which ones?" is generally guaranteed to result in low simmering animosity. Only time I think it didn't was an environmental studies professor. Which was sort of fun, we got to have a conversation about conventional tillage, mechanical weed removal, diesel consumption, and soil erosion. But that conversation stands out among two decades.

Everyone else seems to take it as a fetish of faith, like they seem to with medicine being bad, chemists being the devil, and the butt people being interesting.

They are interesting... even to you... you bring them up all the time. The real point is why they are interesting. Its different for everybody. I'd guess that part of why they're interesting to you, (and your point is probably the most profound I've heard today) is because, as you just referenced, the irony of people who present as conspiracy theorists, having figured things out, being outside the matrix, and similar... people who purport to reject the "poison" of the mainstream... while also watching, following, obsessing, over the Kardashians... how unplugged can you (the royal you) be if you're consuming the Kardashians? That's about as plugged in as it gets.

My concern isn't even RFK Jr. specifically... its more that this administration is going to be too incompetent/dysfunctional to properly or competently handle the next health crisis... just like last time.

Oh, yeah. Pretty sure that's a given. Probably worse if Brainworms gets confirmed because of who his daddy is. He seems hell bent on ploughing a semi through the March of Dimes. World's most moronic jihadist.

I can't find the chart I saw before, but March of Dimes stinks at how much of the donated amount actually goes to the cause.
In the above, it's only 15 cents of every dollar.

So MoD may not be the best choice for this kind of ranting. (ranting at why they spend so much on other stuff ...)

Yeah, but it worked. You don't exist in an iron lung.

But the world's stupidest jihadist's supporters aren't really up for results. They're dumber than ol' Brainworms himself.

If your want to gripe about throughput percentages, hell, check my sig. They do alright. Certainly better than whatever else people spend the vast majority of thier money on while creating an incessant narcissistic drone of excuses to be useless.
