CrezNES - Another Return to Our Roots

To Tartessos:
From the Hellenic Republic:

We would rather not get culture flipped by your accursed pantheon, please stop constructing it. Thanks.

Everyone I have grave news.

Unfortunately, the way things are going it seems as though I will be unable to continue this NES. Now, I know (some of) you are thinking "Gee Crezth, I thought we were going to get to aeroplanes?" Sadly, as you well know, my life has been rather hectic as of late and I am no longer able to devote time to this NES. It may seem like a low-labor NES but things are never really what they seem; behind the scenes was a lot of complex and honestly convoluted devices keeping it running. They decreased efficiency and that's why the update resolution dropped from 7 per week to 2 per week. This, combined with the ruleset which is ever-changing and difficult to understand (even to myself at times) are what shall sound the ultimate deathknell of this NES. To put it bluntly, I need more experience.

However I still enjoyed what time I spent running this experiment with all of you involved and it was fun while it lasted. I shall do one last update (1000 BC) and then put it to bed, as it has run its course. In the future, I may (in fact, I intend to) run a "follow-up" NES starting in 1500 AD, which will be this world transposed that length of time ahead. So those of you who painstakingly built your nations from scratch may yet be able to enjoy them in the age of discovery.

Once again, thanks everyone for your participation and support, stay tuned for CrezNES II, which will pick up where this left off.

I saw it coming, but this was excellent for a first NES. (and second and third and fourth)

As long as in CrezNES II, we are given the option to claim the nation we played as in this one without competing with other players...I am fine with it.

Nooo, it's so unfair! I had made so many plans for my country, and Tartessos was doing great! I sincerely hope that CrezNES II continues where ARTOR has left us, and that Tartessos keeps being as good as it is right now!

Almost all NESes die at some point...you need to be ready for that. Sure, I brought Amazonia from nothing, trailing behind others who started earlier, and made it a superpower...but I am willing to let it go because this is just a game.

But yes, it is a pity Crezth needs to stop, but RL takes priority over our personal pleasures. Also, I don't think we could take another Mod, because Crezth's super awesome Modding MADE this NES.

Yeah, I know that, but it still pains me to see that I will have to say goodbye (for now) to the nation I spent so much time working with to turn them into the powerful meritocratic monarchy it is right now. Here is to hoping that Crezth finds the time to restart the game with CrezNES II.

Yeah, I started as a Minor superpower, lagged due to Dani's attacks and wars and their assistance to the franks. (a total of 2 gold IIRC) And then became Vice-Hegemony in Chief. :P

If it went my way, I will have most of france, north iberia, all of the scandinavia and germany and north balklans.

This is also a NES of my stories and my victory over an Old Guard, Feanor. Go me!

I personally hope you start another one.

Who is Hegemony in Chief then?

And if it had gone my way, I would have gotten to Newfoundland and Canada. Funny that you didn't mention the fact that I kicked you out of Ireland before you arrived :D

Things were a lot better for me in some ways then I'd hoped, but worse in others. If things had gone according to my original plans, I would have built up slowly into a United States-type Superpower, controlling Australia and Indonesia. (Though Amazonia's very existence squashed that dream...)

Glad to help.

Warhead ruined my plans.

If Nippon didn't civilize the Persians or attack me, Bengal would've had a staggering 21 GPT and would've taken over them in no time.

Note to self: Make betraying your allies a little more discreet.

*insert every swear word known to man here*.

If you knew what me and TLJ were planning, you couldn't touch North America. Just ask DarthNader.:)

Thanks for the NES Crezth. Been loads of fun.:) Any possibly of awards?

I think I get Most Successful Comeback. (Really, if I didn't change my UU I would have been in huge trouble.)
