Banged my head against the French and Viking warriors.

Finally some success.
Redlined a vet sword in killing a vet spear on a hill outside Frankfurt.

What was left of my swords outside Strasbourg, killed three swords inside.
They were left impotently staring in at an unaccompanied Conrad the Red.

We captured Naumburg from the Germans and we killed Henry that was hiding inside.

Curious.

I thought we all had 3 leaders.
I only saw a report of 1 German leader dying previously.

However, I attacked Strasburg, killing the leader inside, and Germany promptly disappeared...

If it's any comfort to the departed Germans,
I kept the finger.

I could have easily repelled the French swords -- it was the Viking 6/2 Berserkers that did me in. Good luck on the game.
