Q2. 1978?
Q3. Honduras?

I'm just guessing here.

Q2: In what year was the penalty kick introduced to the rules of football?

Q3: Which team was most improved in the FIFA world rankings this December, and therefore broke into the top 100 for the first time in its history?

1. 1906
2. 1938
3. Slovenia

I'm only guessing as well.

3) I guess it has to be kazakhstan, since it's the only team in the world taht was ranked over 100 in november and below 100 in december.

Sorry, only just got the e-mail to tell me there was a reply.
Jacques got kazakhstan, spot on monsieur!

Well I'm going to assume that the answers above were correct, and if not, then you haven't said otherwise so :p.

Who was the first president of FIFA, and what was his job before this?
Who was the first president of UEFA?

Robert Guérin was elected president of the FIFA in 1904.
And Ebbe Schwartz (from denmark?) was president of the UEFA in the 50's.

Question:
It happened once that the world cup champion didn't defend its title during the next world cup round. Which country was that?

Which city took only 16 years to host the final of the WC, the final of the EC and the Olympic Games? What's the name of the stadium? Which football clubs are playing in that stadium? And why won't we see anymore those events taking place there?

I guess you're talking about München (WC 1974, EC 1988, and the OG somewhere between that I think), Olympiastadion, the teams are Bayern München and TSV 1860 München, and it doesn't happen nowadays because the WC and OG have to be on different continents every time and I think all continents have to have had their turn before Europe comes again.

:goodjob:
You almost got it all. The city and the stadium are those indeed, and the Olympic Games were held in 1972 in Munich. But for the last part of the question, I want the reason why the Olympiastadion will not witness any of those competitions again.

Because its getting replaced by a new stadium? Or because there is a bigger stadium now that would host the final?

Because after reunification the final (of the WC 2006 for example) will be held in Berlin. And the Olympiastadion won't see much football soon because they'll build a new one for 2006, as already guessed by Dell19 ;)

But as he hasn't posted a question, please answer this one:

Tell me the name of the linesman that said the ball was over the line after Hurst's shot in the 1966 final

OOOOI

I was guessing so I was waiting to see whether I was right! Damn now I have to think of a question

Who scored the first ever goal in the premiership and for which team and who against?

(To make it interesting you have to answer both our questions correctly to be able to make the next question :p )
