Cumulative Football Quiz #2

:(
Sorry, guys. I was out of town in the last days, and I couldn´t check the forum. Dell's answer is correct. The Olympiastadion will be replaced by a new one, and in the future it will only be used for athletics (like the European Championships next summer). Willem got the most of it, so perhaps he should be the one to post the next question.
About the new questions: I don't have any idea about Dell19's question (I don't now much about english football). But the linesman of the 1966 final was a Soviet, but I can't remember his name.

I don't know the linesman's name, but the first Premier League goal in England was scored by Brian Deane for Sheffield United when they beat the evil scum 2-1. They weren't quite as evil then, and didn't have that many gloryseeking fans, but they still went on and on about their great history.

That is correct, except for the evil scum part :goodjob:

Anyway you can ask the next question unless anyone is going to answer the answer correctly as well.

Manchester United?

If this is right, could someone post a new question, as I'm not going to be here until Monday.

Man U's right though, o morepork. :D
Got a lot of digs in at dell's team there! :D

Grrrr

So what team do you support then? Lets make it fair...

McDread is correct. After Gullit wasn't going, Van Basten wanted to come, and everybody was happy in Holland, but then the AC Milan physio said he couldn't go......probably was best for him too. At least he can play special matches like 'the game of the century' in 2000, where all the big players of the last century played against each other. That was a very nice match to see.......very desillusionating as well.......some of them got so fat they couldn't even play for more than 5 minutes (Piet Keizer)

  Oooo.... you cheeky young scamp. Why I oughta....

No, no. It's the glorious (and briefly at the top of the league on Saturday night) toon! I do live in Leeds though, and was born in Liverpool but I don't remember ever letting willem know that.
Everyone calls Man U the scum as far as I'm concerned, regardless of whichever team they support.

Sorry? Forgive me?

I didn't know they're called the scum everywhere, I just know there's a greater rivally between Man U - Liverppol and Leeds, right?

:p What was the score last time they played Man UTD and who knocked them off the top of the table?

The name of the linesman is something like Bakhremov.

In 1974, Holland was at the top of the world. However not everything was going well in the kingdom. Cruijff's word was the truth. He got angry with the goal keaper and told the coach to decide between both of them. Obviously, Michels got the keaper out of the team, and although he was by far Holland's best keaper of the 70's, that man would never play regularly in the squad again. What was his name?
