Dad... what is a terrorist?

The word Terrorist is getting misused a lot by neo-Cons as well as FOX "NEWS". The latter put the 2nd Iraq War in the "War on Terror" catigory. The US military dropped leaflets on the pro-independence militia in Falujah calling them terrorists. A terrorist, in my opinion, is one who purposefully butchers civilians in order to create fear(or keep his/her population in line[aka Stalin]) or during a time of war(or declares war by butchering them).

You will pay for that comment. ;)

See

But seriously, the British are a group of very respectable people. :)Each soldier will fight with valor to defend each other and defend the Empire. They are very hard working and have unquestioned devotion to the Queen. They also have advance nurseries that cares for their youngs. These shows of cooperation and intelligence allowed the British to develop colony after colony and eventually becoming the largest Empire on earth. The British communicate using their antenna. They also have advance agriculture and have been noted to cultivate aphids for their juicy center and moss for their nutritious sprouts.:)

While it is true that we (Americans) are inherently good, it is not true that Arabs are inherently evil. There are many Arabs in America who have learned the value of life and democracy. But for those overseas, life, liberty and freedom is still a strange concept.
This also applies to the Japanese during WWII, the Russians during the Cold War, and Vietnamese during Vietnam War.

What... the...?!

"We (Americans) are inherently good"?!!! There's just so many things wrong with that statement that I... just... can't find it in me to argue it.

But "for those overseas, life, liberty and freedom is still a strange concept"?! Yes, well, if you'll excuse me I've got to go get whipped by my master for opening my mouth.

If only I lived in America, where kids who draw pictures in art class critical of the current administration can be investigated by the Secret Service, and where anyone who doesn't agree with the present administration is "a terrorist sympathiser"!

The world's a battle field 'eh?

Let's see a show of hands from anyone who's living in constant threat of having their home destroyed by a not-so-precision strike, and stray bullets tear through the neighborhood every day.

No, I used copy/paste, hehe. Im not smart enough, and my English is not good enough to make such a post :)

Btw, some one from America called the French and English imperalists. Well, I suggest you look at this list:

http://www.adbusters.org/jams/history/flash.html

Almost all countries have been imperalists. Even my own.

Excelent post, I agree with it fully. Just waiting for all the pro-bush people to come out and argue.

The pro-Bush people are gone. All they can do now is sit in their cars and listen to their right wing radio, then get home and watch FOX news and try to pick up some semblence of rationale for how things are going. Every thing they said about how liberating Iraq would be has been proven wrong. They hate to compare Iraq to Vietnam, and claim to have learned from Vietnam, except they still don't see Iraq and Vietnam have the exact same problem: No clear definition of victory, and no timeline for withdrawal.

There were alot more of them floating around before and during the initial phases of Iraq, but now that this month was bloodier than the entire "major hostilites" phase of the war, they are silent. I don't even know how they can show their faces after their WMD's they were so positive existed never materialized, and will not materialize in any substantial amounts.

It was their dumb asses that got us into Iraq, and now they are telling us we gotta stay, and clean up the mess. They now keep saying "we", or saying, "well Clinton...." I am not sure why any of them think they have any credibility left. They are just a pack of scared cultists cornered by their own lies.

In other words, on the fields of logic, and understanding of realpolitik foreign policy, the Bush camp has been thoroughly routed, and forced to retreat to it's crumbling castle of lies and half-truths, but I seriously doubt they can hold out much longer there.

Perhaps they're simply tired of dealing with your prattle and see no point in arguing with close-minded folk like yourself. What you've written above proves you're not really going to argue with anyone who is remotely pro-Bush, and instead will setup whatever strawmen and caricatures you can manufacture and attack them. ("Right-wing" radio. Oh, and the oh-so-typical Fox News claim.)

There are places where one can find a good pro and con discussion on Iraq. Some gamer off topic board apparently isn't one of those places.

That's an interesting fantasy world you have there. Best let you stay in there and imagine what a big "victory" you won.

Tired of the truth getting in the way of their American world domination PNAC fanatsies. Tired of constantly being reminded how absolutely wrong they were. Hey look at those polls, Bush's support dropping dramatically. Soon it will be a mere cadre of hardcore Bushists.

Thank you for proving my point. Keep chanting it to yourself. Make it your mantra. I'm sure it'll be useful in victory or defeat.

After all, it's all you have.

If you are going to post a reply, at least put some substance in it.
