DBear02--Jerusalem

I'll grab the save tonight when I get home. Consider this an I got it

I will be out of town this weekend (24th-26th), so Darwin and Methos, feel free to take your time with this one.

DBear, will do... I thought I had time tonight, but don't. I'll get to it tomorrow, though. Promise. :)

01-390BC: not much.

02-370BC: snottingham riots. :(

03-350BC: America completes Pyramids
Great Wall built in Delhi
Hanging Gardens built in Zimbabwe
Massive barbarian uprising near canterbury

04-330BC: barbarian hordes approach Canterbury.

05-310BC: Our southern marches are surrounded with barbarians.

06-290BC: Amazingly, the hordes make for Atlanta, and kill some American workers.

07-270BC: Barbarian hordes ransack Atlanta! Poor Abe.

08-250BC: Barbaria founded on coastal hills, per dot map.

09-230BC: Moving second settler into place.

10-210BC: Little Jeruselam build MoM!! Set queue to Lighthouse. york riots. damn.

We still have a significant barbarian horde in the south. America and India are fighting ever so nicely. We'll have Republic in 13.

How did we get so off on turns? My pre-turn is turn 177. Oh well.

Pre-Turn: Darwin didn’t play this turn for some reason, so I finish it. Settler group moves south to Lullaby’s planned city site (spots barbarian camp). Adjust slider to 2/6/2. 30% lux wasn’t needed. Doesn’t make sense, two of our cities that have barracks are building cats and the one city without barracks is building spears. Do a little switching around.

Snottingham and Coventry both switch from cats to archers. York (once it quits rioting will switch to something, still not for sure what).

France has some cash and only knows Zulu and America (who has Laws). I give France Laws for 128 gold.

IT: America builds Buffalo extremely close to where we planned on settling. The barbs attacked a lone American archer, promoting him to elite before finally taking him out. France has entered the MA.

1@190 BC: York switches to a cat.

IT: York Cat>Cat

2@170 BC: Newcastle founded, begins Temple.

3@150 BC: Zzzz

IT: Zulu demand 28 gold, I give it. A goth raiding party attacks Newcastle killing a spear and a warrior and took 53 gold!

Snottingham Archer>Archer. Coventry Archer>Archer.

4@130 BC: I finish off the barbs. We need money and workers so I do this:

America: We give Monarchy; we get 47 gold
France: We give Monarchy; we get 1 worker.

IT: Canterbury Archer>Marketplace.

5@110 BC: Zzzz

IT: India enters the MA

6@90 BC: Zzzz

IT: India and America exchange insults.

7@70 BC: Zzzz

IT: York Cat>Cat. Snottingham Archer>Archer. Barbaria Worker>Worker. Coventry Archer>Archer.

8@50 BC: Zzzz

IT: Hastings Spear>Temple

9@30 BC: Zzzz

10@10 BC: Zzzz

-We will learn Republic the next turn and I would suggest we immediately switch govs.
-I’ve been building up military as I believe we may want to invade possibly America soon to get their Iron and/or Horses. Not for sure about this though. If we don’t do it soon America will have MI against our archers and spears. It’ll be awhile before we have longbowmen.
-We might also think about building up our infrastructure; as in marketplaces, temples, and libraries.

@Methos: sorry about the turn count.. Maybe I got screwed up somewhere?

I'm back, everyone. I'll take a look at the save later.

Need a skip until Monday, 4th of July due to excess flooding in the work pipeline.

DBear02--Jerusalem:

0) -10: Ok, the Krauts are getting worrisome. Looks like the French are goners--typical. Our neighbors at war w/each other is nice, will slow them down. I think we should get some settlers to the east, now that America has cleared out some of that land. Tech is rather slow for Emperor. NO resources anywhere? This is getting ugly. Set Snottingham to settler and Coventry to temple to flip San Fran.

1) 10: Learn Republic. Pull the trigger, get 5 turn anarchy and LOTS of civil disorder. Have to create lotsa clowns. Unfortunately, Lil' Jerusalem and Snottingham are in food shortage. LJ has a grainary, so should get through ok, but Snottingham won't. Switched York to settler and Snottingham to cat.

2) 30: Watch Americans and Indians kill each other. Looks like America got the best of it, as they ran about 5 slaves out w of San Fran. Newcastle road completed.

3) 50: Boring turn.

4) 70: Germans destroy the French. We pick up Feud from GL.

5) 90: A barbarian shows up near the outskirts of Barbaria. Run an archer over to pick him off. Move spear to hill to prevent barbarian from going there. There's also a Zulu scout nosing around--mebbe the barb will kill him. Workers chopped a forest outside Canterbury.

6) 110: Anarchy ends. I had originally revolted to go into republic, but with feudalism in, decide that this is one of the few times feud is better. Republic has better commerce, but with NO luxes whatsoever, MP are important, and feud uses them. Oh, did I mention a German ancient rides into view. I don't like this at all. Who picked this map?--oh, I did... Great.

7) 130: The news gets even better--the Spanish (where the heck are they?) beat us to the Lighthouse. At least we can now switch to Sun Tzu, though the Krauts are building it too.

8) 150: Don't see the ancient anymore, so mebbe he turned and headed home. Snottingham cat-->spear.

9) 170: Secure hill east of Jerusalem for city site. York pops, have to MM to prevent rioting.

10) 190: Send settler to east, have cat heading that way also.

Opened embassies to Germany and India to get them friendlier. I can't believe we didn't get a single resource... :shakehead:

Two ancient wonders is standard, we should get 4 out of the MA: Sistine, Bach, Shakespeare and hopefully ToG or Copernicus, but any other should do.

You should not trade away Monotheism. This tech has low research prioority for the AI and thus we could get a good start on Sistine and Knight's Templar.

Preturn: Boy, we're pretty cozy with India, huh? Is a little conquering in our future plans? And boys, I'm afraid we've committed a terrible blunder by relying on the great library to do our research for us. With this tech pace we'll probably blow 600 shields on Sun Tzus or Leos, when we could've put those towards Sistines, Bachs, or any wonder that gives more than 2 cpt! Ahh well, we'll see how it goes.

Turn 1: Barbaria: Worker to uhm...Courthouse? I hate corrupt cities.
I'm also a moron, I was wondering why that worker was sitting along on that hill. Right. For a city holder, hopefully india moves their troops next turn.

Turn 2: Abe demands 31 gold...I wrestle with it a lot(I want his Iron!) I decide to let him have it for now. He's lucky. Oxford on hill

Turn 3: India is getting smacked around, they're in our resource boat. No match against America's MI with their tactics. I hope they keep throwing troops up to stop America's advances long enough for us to mass upgrade to longbows so we can invade India and take our first ring cities.

Turn 4: Somethings up with the dates...I can't tell if I missed a lot of turns or what. If I did? So sorry, this is what I get for letting three SGs pile up for one sitting!

Turn 5: Coventry: Temple-Aqueduct Oh hey, India does have iron now. Guess the tides might turn if they produce enough MIs fast enough.

Turn 6: Snottingham( ) Temple-Settler

Turn 7: Zzz

Turn 8: Temple-Library(Feel free to change, but I want our science ready when we start)

Turn 9:

Turn 10:

Alright, I'm all tweaked out. I'm not sure what the year increment was when I started but I may have done up to 4 extra turns. Which is odd. I'm sorry for messing up the turn roster, but it's getting a bit late for this civer(Blasphemy, I know)
