Recently got a new laptop. Nothing too fancy background-wise.

How so? My avatar is Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG-1 and my desktop background is the Enterprise from, of course, Star Trek.

Is your name Daniel too by any chance? I ask because your desktop icon for your user folder (I assume its your user folder at least) is named Daniel.

Mine is kind of cluttered...

The space between CIV IV and Colonization is reserved for my missing BTS.

I reinstalled it some months ago but the desktop icon never came back and I cannot find it from searching My Computer or C disk or anything. But I know it's installed, because when I put the disk in it says 'play now' not 'install'. Anyway that's an issue for another forum.

I think I may have accidentally deleted my spinning globe background, so in place of it I went with a nice Futurama one.

This is thanks to a program called "DesktopEarth". Found it while Googling Earth wallpapers. It updates your wallpaper to reflect Earth as it would appear from space at a interval that you set.

It's been a while since I've changed my desktop.
