Whomp says:
any mtdg business?
Rob says:
as for the mtdg we don't know whats happened to nobody
Whomp says:
i saw him temporarily today
Whomp says:
but he went offline
Rob says:
as for our warrior he has just been eploring your continent in the unclaimed areas, not that there is many left now
Rob says:
exploring
Whomp says:
we were wondering where he came from
Whomp says:
kind of like wow
Rob says:
we dropped him off down south like 25 turns ago
Whomp says:
that boy's got a few promotions
Rob says:
barbs, lots and lots of barbs
Whomp says:
Whomp says:
it would be tough to beat a immortal
Whomp says:
we are very secure and will be making some moves on TNT from the cities and possibly a end around
Rob says:
actually we had a warrior who beat 2 warriors, a spear and 2 horses from TNT before just losing to a third horseman
Rob says:
we've lost more units to barbs then to TNT
Whomp says:
that's funny
Whomp says:
what were they attacking with a spear for?
Rob says:
who knows? this is TNT after all
Rob says:
they also tried to take us head on with there immortals when they knew we had a speed advantage
Whomp says:
they've done some curious things.
Rob says:
if i had to say one think about donsigs tactics, its that they lacked creativity and imagination
Whomp says:
they had a stack and it went away
Rob says:
he is trying to suck you in
Whomp says:
we were trying to suck them in
Rob says:
they tried that a few times with us
Whomp says:
left the pikes but no immortals
Rob says:
they want you to commit with your gallics, then pick you off with horses standing behind themWhomp says:
we haven't seen horses
Rob says:
any other tactical advise?
Rob says:
they are there
Rob says:
they just want you to think they don't have them
Whomp says:
i think we need to take some units and land on their coastal cities
Rob says:
boy i wish i could join your team for about 20 turns
Whomp says:
Rob says:
i had donsig in knots by the end of our war
Whomp says:
you guy's even considering taking them on again
Rob says:
we need to rebuild our army into a force again
Rob says:
which will be soon, within 20 turns
Whomp says:
disbanding sucks
Rob says:
or so
Rob says:
not disbanding just haven't build a single military unit since the war ended so we are streched in protecting all our new cities
Rob says:
and we have an extra 8 or 9 cities
Whomp says:
that's good
Whomp says:
It will be nice to see you get back in the mix
Whomp says:
i wonder how much we've hurt tnt
Rob says:
not too much yet, but one good thurst will break them, they are on the edge
Whomp says:
research wise it's got to be a crusher
Rob says:
we will have theology in around 5 turns to send you
Whomp says:
cool. i can't remember where we're at...scout leaves great logs if you want me to check
Rob says:
it ok, i know we are behind you
Whomp says:
we'd love to have you join us but you need to protect those cities.
Rob says:
well if you need any military advise im your man
Whomp says:
i think we have a lux coming to you
Whomp says:
ok well tell me all you know
Whomp says:
Rob says:
well this is what i would do... drum roll
Rob says:
1. hit the pikes but leave about 4 gallics behind, this will draw out there horses and then you can pick them off
Rob says:
2. at the same time land near carpetbomb with about 6 units, if you can take carpetbomb, then you can sweep southward along there western border, they have 5 cities with minimal protection there
Rob says:
3. land about another 6 units in the jungle and head west, they have a group of 4 cities in the jungle bringing back gems and spices, cut them off from the core cities then then head for dancing banana where they should meet up with group one if all goes well
Rob says:
even if you don't fully succeed TNT will be in tatters and a second build up would definately finish them off
Rob says:
are you writing this down
Whomp says:
i like it
Rob says:
your look at around 20 units in total for the assult
Rob says:
but if you can spare them you should be able to finish them in one go
Rob says:
i should say 20 units plus boats
Whomp says:
our city is on a hill with walls so they can attack all they want.
Whomp says:
we have plenty of units ready to roll
Whomp says:
and more coming
Whomp says:
i think the next move will be 2 and 3
Rob says:
trust me most of there army is pikes, and most of it is concentrated in the centre. A 3 pronged attack will definately give you a clear run at there outlying cities. The middle 4 would be the hardest to crack, but if you get the rest then its only a matter of timeWhomp says:
they'd be screwed if we cut off the luxs
Rob says:
absoluely
Whomp says:
and the iron is secure but they'd have to move if we head west
Rob says:
like i said donsig tend to think one dimensionally, that how i out flanked him and razed 2 of their cities while keeping his main force stuck on the edge of the jungle
Whomp says:
would you head to the middle of the jungle our the eastern edge and head west?
Rob says:
no idea, thats up to kuningas, but since there is not many open spaces left he will probably go east and get picked up by our boat
Whomp says:
i meant our guys
Rob says:
oh oops
Rob says:
on sec i'll load up the game so i get the position right
Rob says:
ok
Rob says:
if you follow the coast from furbombs rubble you will come across a fish on the coast
Rob says:
land on the square sw of the fish.
Rob says:
that is out of there visual range. from there if your gallics head west the south west you will be on the doorstep of there city (we can't see the name
Rob says:
this city is the connecting hub to all the cities in the jungle bring back luxs
Whomp says:
Whomp says:
you guys are going to need to get some of the spoils
Rob says:
if your 2nd team hit carpetbomb at the same time you can cut off there only ivory lux and leave them with no luxs
Whomp says:
protect your MIA coast and we'll make it easy for you
Rob says:
don't worry we can take the jungle cities, just need a few turns to build up the army again
Rob says:
if you follow my plan you wont fail
Whomp says:
we're ready. we have the beach head secured so they have to pay attention to that
Rob says:
for sure. i would say 75 % of the army is pikes, with about 4 or 5 horses and about 6 or 7 immos. If you can draw the horses in like i said with your first group you will pretty much wipe them all out leaving them without a 2MP unit
Whomp says:
i wonder if they'll try to upgrade to knights
Rob says:
its an expensive upgrade
Rob says:
if they do they would only have 1 or 2
Whomp says:
and they can't handbuild them very fast
Whomp says:
maybe...maybe 5 turns in the capital
Whomp says:
and it's got a lot of flood plains
Rob says:
well one unit can only do so much
Whomp says:
right
Rob says:
and the other thing with the plan, they will see the carpetbomb attack coming, so use that to camoflage the jungle attack which they wont see until your on top of their city there
