Try www.redscape.com if you want to join a Diplomacy game. They start up games for beginners every so often...although some so-called beginners may only be new to the site, not the hobby.

nice. Well, thats pretty cool, though we don't play here much anymore...
Funny that there is a whole subforum for diplomacy, while we have several games running in the NES forum. I guess technically we should move those games here, at least if we start new ones, but the recruitment level would probably drop significantly then. Staying in the NESing forum gives a larger audience and thus more drop-ins, which would help us avoid the seeming abandonment fate of this subforum. So, if any of you old-timers feel like playing, why not drop over there?
