Whomp - that was an excellent conversation with Ken. My only hope with that the kid can negotiate with Donuts. I have my doubts. He seems clueless.
The only thing I don't like about this agreement is #5. I would like to make it more generic since MIA and KISS can not beat D'nut to a sling. Maybe something like "the quickest way to republic with or without D'nut. I don't like researching writing if we don't have to or being locked into an agreement where they can make deals while we do hard research.

Yeah, we should get Writing from D'nuts. But the diplomacy is very compicated now when we don't have contact with them. For everything we want to discuss with them we need MIA. We must contact them ASAP.
Contact with TNT would be a valuable asset too, even if they don't have any good techs to trade. If nothing else, we'd be equal with MIA.

Here is my assessment based on the opening round of bidding, and I think we know who's holding the the dummy hand.
d'nuts made the stongest opening gambit with a burn to writing. We just don't know if that has made them vulnerable to a Persian onslaught.
MIA fiddled around, didn't explore, and now owns what are pretty insignificant techs when you consider the opponents. They didn't set themselves up for rapid expansion, and didn't set themselves up to take advantage of their position on the map and their commercial and scientific traits. Iron Working and Warrior Code pale into insignificance when you consider the hoplite as an AA and early MA defender. And you don't have to attack the enemy if you can outgrow and outresearch them.
I don't know anything about TNT right now, but if the Chief Druids and Entrail Gazers are correct, they could be on the warpath. If so it is going to cost them in the long run so long as their local opponent can put up a good fight.
So what we need to do is continue as we have been, but we also need to get d'nuts into the boat with us. And get them what they need to make a stand against the Persians if that is in fact what is going on.

Not so much watchout for TNT because even if they own their continent at the end of the AA they will be gassed if d'nits puts up any kind of a fight. And the sooner they are equipped to do that the better.
However, the verdict is still out and delcarer has not laid the dummy down yet. What's going on across the sea?
