Download for version 1.11
In vanilla BtS, each leader has three versions of their diplomacy music: an early version for the Ancient and Classical eras, a middle version for the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and a late version for the Industrial and Modern eras. However, in DoC, where many leaders, and indeed many civs, only appear for one or two eras, this means you often hear only a single version of a certain track. And in many cases, it's the very basic early version.
This is what this mod aims to improve: Instead of having every civ's diplo music change at the Middle ages and the Industrial age, the music tends to switch within the period the civ is alive. Many ancient civs, for example, have the middle or late version of their music moved forward all the way to the classical era. Maria's broken diplo music has also been fixed.
Four entirely new tracks have also been added: Francis now has Richard Straus' Emperor Waltz; the Spanish leaders have the Spanish King's diplo music from Colonization in the Middle Ages and Renaissance (always thought the flamenco just didn't quite fit pre-Industrial Spain); Stalin has an instrumental version of the Soviet Union's national anthem; and Gustav Adolph has an oboe concert by Johan Helmich Roman.
