Well, as I see it you attacked my troops first. The Avan people have a right to defend themselves. Both you and Bengal attacked them, for no apparent reason.
Our presence in Ava was by invitation, and we were there on a friendly visit. We got caught in the crossfire because of you and Bengal. So now I do think it is my duty to help the Avan people defend themselves. Prince Singu's territory just happened to be where our troops were when you invaded.
Only the Ayutayans and Bengali invade for no other reason but greed.

I should have. There should be plenty of European traders passing India for me to have the contact. If not, then I'll edit it out... I suppose we need dis to get a conclusive answer

As I said, maybe Iberians, but even then not much (its rather difficult to get there). The canal is ours, and we rule the Indian Ocean (well, dominate it anyway). You probably get lots of Turkish traders if thats any compensation.
