My internet droped out for a week, low turnout, a drop and an insanely hard varrient scared newcomers. I've done this game a few times and it is possible but as you said it is a fast game therefore it would be better in the story page, not in a SG.

I've since moved on to civ4 where the varrient might be reborn with some changes, from what I have seen it seems a little more doable. Of course no Babylon

If your still playing civ3 then try it, its a lot of fun and its a game you can finish quick for if your waiting for civ4.
