Nice, the dlc riddle is going on again

They just updated 2Kqa_h with Civ GH. It's been 2 weeks since the last Civ GH update. This is the 4th update involving that depot.

I saw they updated 2kqa_g today - did they previously update g and h this close to each other?

My speculation this time is, next we get two dlc at the same time. Additionally to dlc 006 will come dlc 007 the first to be paid contend for everyone.

We had this hint about NBA but we did not get that this means NuBiA. What the next dlc 005 was.

Now the Code name is: "GH" for GenGHis Khan

As far as I can see, there haven't been any updates for Mac and Linux. Any thing I didn't see, @Eagle Pursuit? Maybe it explains what AspyrBlair said today: "Still working through bugs. Trust us...if it was ready, you would be playing it." I asked if those bugs were the bugs you PC users are mentioning. How cool would it be for Aspyr to release it without bugs or much less? Wishful thinking? Maybe.

Like SamBC said, I expect the mac/Linux versions to be the same as the PC version, warts and all.

Especially if the goal is cross-platform compatibility, the odds of there being fixes in the mac branch that aren't in the PC one are almost 0.

I bear no ill will towards mac users, but I will play devils advocate in this case and say that I doubt Firaxis would permit Aspyr to do anything like that. The potential bad PR and general embarrassment that would come about for Firaxis as a result would be too great.

I know. My wishful thinking was more about hoping to be surprised by Firaxis releasing a hot fix for PC's, which I know they don't, and Aspyr releasing the DLC and patch with those fixes as well. Like I said. Wishful thinking.

Completely agree. Just wishing for that better world where fixes come at the request of players, especially when it is warranted and obvious that they released the patch with bugs.

No ill will felt here. No worries. Of course Firaxis would't allow that. But I wish Apsyr's policies and agreement with Firaxis would be such that they wouldn't allow a release with bugs.

I must say, however, that now that I think about it, in previous releases, I didn't encounter as many bugs as reported in forums by PC users. This is not a scientific assertion, of course, but it is true in my experience. Then again, there are so many variables at play that maybe I just didn't encounter them, even if I have played 1475 hours so far. Anyhow, we'll see when I play it. I was a bit reluctant to install it, but there's no way around it, as far as I gather, and I'm curious to see the cool things it does bring.

Nothing on either front. I expect Aspyr will have their part done next week and DLC06 might be in late October.

Reading between the lines of the Steam discussions, I believe the patch is not the problem and they're still having trouble with the cross-platform multiplayer. This could take a while yet.

Had a dream. DLC6 was... Southeast Asia. As in, the civ was called Southeast Asia and was just a conglomerate of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam?

Leader was some modern-era king. Everyone was disappointed.
