Quick explanation of my tardiness: A combination of not expecting a dropper to put me on deck this fast, and some distractions in real life.
Whatever. I start by switching our tech path to Education. I also remove a Breeding pit from Nubia's queue, replacing it with a Worker followed by a truckload of bloodpets.
On turn 91 Prespur's breeding bit finishes. I start a settler there, then queue up another big heap of bloodpets behind him.
On turn 92 the scout finds a second skeleton burrow:
Things are going to get hot until we destroy these. After a certain turn threshhold, these things start cranking out skeletons which make a mad dash for the nearest city. The skeletons have 4 strength.
On turn 95 we get a random event:
I take the "lower inflation" option as Nubia is so close to having that obelisk finished it can taste it.
On turn 100-something the scout dies, but finds a patch of wheat to the close northwest of Prespur immediately before biting it. More on this at the end of the writeup.
Bunch of boring button pushing and a few minor barbarian attacks happen happens until turn 112, then it hits the fan:
Bet you're glad I decided to build all those bloodpets huh? Like 6 have been produced so far.
Orthrus rams his head against Nubia until it cracks like an egg on turn 116:

Here, I pick up the axe and call it quits for now.
Somewhere among this excitement the Settler completes and founds Acaia, while Prespur's worker follows him there. Education finished researching; I started Bronze next. Didn't have much time to do land improvement, but Nubia sports a new mine and both Nubia and Acaia have a cottage.
Empire overview:
Circled in red are invading barbs. We have more than enough strength to beat them in a fight (Prespur has 2 bloodpets, the other cites have 3 each.) I'd worry about the barbarian in Prespur's radius pillaging though. We also found out about that wheat. It should be a priority to scout that land, so we can find the best way to settle it. The barbs are thick enough to make that hard at this point, however.

We have had this new option since discovering Edumacation a few turns back. I did not revolt to it. If the next guy wants to, go right ahead, I won't object.
