DMI VII - Celebrity Deathmatch

I was looking at the scoring system and I see no points scored for finishing early.

Team Warlords up to 1500 AD

Compromise surprised us with a hopeful sign: "We're not utterly last in tech !"

We plodded on, but our economy was somewhat in the sink...main reason was our ongoing feud with the Egypts...

At this point the worthy pigswill joined our ride, helping us out because we were somewhat short on players.

We added lots of Barb cities in the South to our glorious empire...

We got Liberalism in 1360 AD, grabbing Nationalism.

After some trades we were set up to reach Cossacks at 1480 AD.

We planned to use them for eliminating Hatty at last, no other wars were planned at that time. We were heading for a Diplo Win...

Imhotep

I don't know if this makes a difference, but from here on out, I think Team Warlords path is clear. Just how much better we did than Vanilla and BtS is still an open question.

Team BTS to 1 A.D.

In that very 500 B.C. where last we left team BTS long ago, war against Hatty was declared. She had after all, placed Alexandria where we wanted a city!

In 450 B.C., Alexandria was ours.

In 225 B.C., Memphis was taken.

In 25 B.C., peace was signed with Hatty (we got fishing! :crazyeye:) and proceeded to work towards a healther economy.

Team BTS to 800 A.D.

Novgorod was settled south of Moscow to pick up the infamous grassland flood plain.

<Imagine image of Novgorod here, founded circa 200 A.D.>

Remember our grand plan of religious victory?

Buddhism? How is the study of flowers that haven’t opened yet going to unite people?

Otherwise things were quiet, as economy was slowly repaired and troops were trained in preparation for the End of Hatty!

To 1500 A.D.

After preparation and some barb city cleanup, war was redeclared on Hatty in 1090 A.D.
Elephantine was taken in 1120:

Civil Service finally came in in 1100 A.D. A settler was sent to found a production city south of Novgorod, but it got Pholked by a barb sword in 1150 A.D.

At this point, macemen begin appearing in Thebes. Metal Casting is finished in 1270 A.D. These are not two sentences that go well together. However, in that very same year:

We do become mace (and longbow) capable in 1290 by bulbing Philo and trading it to Washington and Kublai.

We met Louis a short while later.

Right at the end of this report period, we finally met the man behind all of our headaches, the legendary “not-to-be-played-in-HoF-games-because-his-UU-is-way-overpowered-in-Monarch-and-higher-games” Capac.

1800, here we come!

Just curious, but do you need to beat the game in order to win this? :p

For instance, what if one team beats the other two team in score but loses the game?

I know I should finally calculate the score, but I'm too lazy :coffee: . Let's just say we're all winners, okay ? ;)
