Turn 0 - Fox left me with a great setup. The only thing I'm a bit confused about is whether the huge garrison stacks in our recently-captured cities are there for a reason, or just waiting to be moved forward. For example, in Fox's map above he doesn't show any arrows for the stack in Argos.
Turn 1 - Units move forward. It's all I can do not to automate all of the workers who ask for order this turn, but I resist the urge.
Turn 2 - Sparta falls.
Isca falls.
Turn 3 - Corinth falls.
Turn 4 - Flight comes in.
I choose radio next - it's on the way to gunships and modern armor. Global warming occurs near one of our cities, which is silly since we have no nuke plants, no ICBMs, and have kept a lot of forests within our BFCs.
Turn 5 - Frederick has a pair of tanks running around in Willem's land. Tolosa falls. This turn I begin sending most of the units produced each turn to the south. Both Cyrus and Willem are down to a handful of cities, but Frederick has a lot more power than Churchill.
Turn 6 - We pop another aluminum, but not within the BFC of any city. Our one tank in the south defeats both of Frederick's tanks we can see.
Turn 7 - We capture Eretria.
Turn 8 - Radio comes in. I select Rocketry next - it's still on the way to Advanced Flight and Composites. We capture Durnovaria. We capture Rhodes, and sink most of Cyrus's navy inside the city. We capture Thebes and leave Cyrus with just a single city.
Turn 9 - We capture Camulodunum and knock Willem out of the game.
turn 10 - Rocketry comes in, Salellites selected next.
Eiffel tower will complete next turn. Overall I've been mainly building Tanks this turns, and the wars against Churchill and Frederick should feature a lot of tank action. I've built at least as many artillary as I've lost, and we should have enough in both theaters, especially if we use Tanks for collateral as well. I also started building bombers, and the next player may want to build more - I confess I don't know much about late-game warring, so I don't know the bomber/tank ideal mix. We may also want to build Maoi statues in a coastal city. Finally, I've grouped our Scientist and Spy on the same tile. We'll get another GP in 2-3 turnsets, so I'd hope for a different kind and trigger another golden age. Please also note Thebes has 4 bombers and Tolosa has one.
No workers are automated, but there are tons of go-to orders. Mainly sending tanks, anti-tanks, and artillary to Tolosa in the south, and sending workers to unimproved tiles.
Imhotep inspired me to keep tabs on the numbers of units killed and lost this turnset. Here are my numbers:
