You guys have been exemplary in your patience ... thanks!
With an empire that huge, I simply glance over and see one that nearly make me vomit blood:
Internet??? Hmm ... with only one AI left, kind of pointless, isn't it? But I let it complete.
Afterall, I love to enjoy a wonder movie.
One other thing is that there are way too many infrastructure build ... they add nothing to a game that will be over in ~10 turns. Rather build troops to hasten the endgame or wealth for the mass upgrades.
Then, begin my razing of cities. I first noted that we do not have enough forces to take Madrid. I pulled the pitiful stack back, but only after the IBT which Freddy reduced it to only a handful of MA left. Hmm ... alright, I will let you have the field day for the time being, while I concentrate on the cities you robbed from Romans.
2001 AD: 1 city
2002 AD: 2 cities
I'd also settled one city ... hate to see the towns rot to waste ...
2003 AD: got rid of the lone spainish city within our culture in the east.
2004 AD: 2 more ex-Rome cities
and one more new city settled:
2005 AD: we finally move against Madrid, and boy, it solved our happiness problem once and for all.
And one more city to the west ... Freddy is now out of steam.
2006 AD: Only one city ...
... because of a stupid spanish city near the inland sea that sports a 89% culture with lots of Mobile SAM, and I don't have Missiles or Arty near by.
2007 AD: Make up for the slow year in 2006, and captured 3
2008 AD: 3 more in this year ...
... including this culture city I talked abt. I have actually triple contingency for this: moved spy there, flew in a few mobile arties, and re-deployed a few missiles here ...
But then turn out the spy is sufficient. Well, it is always good to have plan B and plan C.
There are 4 more spanish cities left. I decided to stop right here and let Berserks have a roll.
If my grand plan is correct, the game should be over in 2 turns, bringing us to 2010, 40 years ahead of time. Those blue invasion arrows should be executed in 2009, taking out two cities. The purple invasion arrows require one and a half turns of movement, so should be completed in 2010.
And to make this a quick two turns, I stopped production in most city and instead make them produce wealth, so there won't be too many build dialog popping up.
Enjoy!
