Do you read Software Licence Agreements?

I do that too.

Though reading it is boring, I do read it!

I make a careful note of which state's laws are used, so I can avoid going there.

Now what's ironic about the program is that it has its own EULA, rather weird if you think about it.

As for myself, I usually glance through them, especially if they are more of a big name corporation (who trusts microsoft?).

I can't remember what it was for, but there was one company that put a clause in the licence agreement that the first person to e-mail them at a given e-mail address would be given a free PC or some other prize. Apparently it took a few months before someone won.

I usually read the part which have to do with what they can do to me. I have seen some weird lisence agreements ( UELA). There was one that said that the company could install software on your computer without your knowledge. Might i say no?

I like the part where they tell you in the EULA to take the software back to the place you purchased it if you don't agree!

You read one GPL you pretty much read all the Software Liscenses for thousands of programs. Hitting a few thousand birds with one stone.

And yes, I have read part of the GPL.

I never read them, origionaly I tried but being 12 it made no sense.
