Civgeneral, the light green colored countries ARE NOT IN THAT MAP, because it takes into consideration only the EU COUNTRIES (and candidates). They are one of the most religious regions in Europe!! (maybe THE most)

Ok, disregard the map.

They are one of the most religious regions in Europe!! (maybe THE most)

How religious are they compared to say Poland?

Actually Turkey, Romania, Albania, Greece are all more religious then Poland, We're tied with Italy.
EDIT: Add Kosovo to the list >.<

But yah, Poland's pretty religious. Kinda funny since Polands always been the most tolerant country in europe towards other religions.

Yup. Also, half of Germany actually belongs to Poland, without you Europe would be muslim and your farts smell like roses.

This poll really should be divided in to "I am European" and "I am American" categories.

What the hell is Silesian?

A highly industrial part of Poland that has the highest population density in the country, its own language, and somewhat distinct culture.

I was born in Lower Silesia and lived in Upper Silesia.

TheLastOne, yeah, I lived in Czestochowa for a large chunk of my life.

I doubt that Kosovo will be united with Albania. However it will be interesting to see what happens to the albanian half in Fyr Macedonia.
And they also have territorial pretensions towards Greece and Montenegro.

Great point there! If you want to know to whom the territory belongs, just look at how they call their towns!

Could you upload some maps?
Here is a map that proves my point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Kosovo_ethnic_2005.png
The albanian names are actualy only slightly changed (albanicized) serbian names. Observe Priština, Peć or Mitrovica, for example.
The other group of names represents names of serbian heroes etc. These names are completely changed into albanian ones. For example, the commune of Obilić (named after the serbian hero Miloš Obilić,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miloš_Obilić) is changed into Kastrioti (albanian national hero).
Srbica commune also falls in this category. The name was changed to Skenderaj (also after Skender-bey Kastrioti).
The map clearly shows a complete lack of albanian autochtone toponims.
P.S. In the map, the first version of the name is albanian, the second serbian.

Here is the complete list of communes in Kosovo:
01. Deçan / Dečani 11. Leposaviq / Leposavić 21. Prizren
02. Dragash / Dragaš 12. Lipjan / Lipljan 22. Skënderaj / Srbica
03. Gjakovë / Đakovica 13. Malishevë / Mališevo 23. Shtërpcë / Štrpce
04. Gllogovc / Glogovac 14. Mitrovicë / Kosovska Mitrovica 24. Shtime / Štimlje
05. Gjilan / Gnjilane 15. Novobërdë / Novo Brdo 25. Suharekë / Suva Reka
06. Istog / Istok 16. Obiliq / Obilić 26. Ferizaj / Uroševac
07. Kaçanik / Kačanik 17. Rahovec / Orahovac 27. Viti / Vitina
08. Kamenicë / Kosovska Kamenica 18. Pejë / Peć 28. Vushtrri / Vučitrn
09. Klinë / Klina 19. Podujevë / Podujevo 29. Zubin Potok
10. Fushë Kosovë / Kosovo Polje 20. Prishtinë / Priština 30. Zveçan / Zvečan

First version of the name is in albanian, the second in serbian. It is easy to see that all of the names are in fact serbian (albanian versions have no meaning, they're just albanicized serbian names, and don't mean anything in albanian per se).

Interesting? You (Greeks) should probably prepare to invade the country and kick the Albanians out of it if the need arises.

Umm, I believe these pictures should have been posted earlier in this thread:

Albanians are the poor victims of Serb violence, remember! :p

Thanks Winner! These are going straight to my atlas. It is shocking how the Serbs were completely exterminated from Metohija (western part around Peć, the see of serbian patriarch).
P.S. And yes, they should've been posted on page 1.

In-ter-es-ting...
Serbs have either been driven out forcefully or have moved out of fear of retribution to major metropolitan areas (or to Serbia.) Do we have a map like this for Serbia?

Here is a pic of "great Albania" (bit of an oxymoron :mischief: ).
Although taking parts of Greece is entirely science fiction, they could annex western fyrom..

Orange is Albania today, around it is greater Albania. The map is surreal, and has some funny elements too (for example they only take half of Corfu  )

Where did you find that map? I don't think anyone actually strives for that. The part of FYROM is much too big too.

In some serbian site (it was the first one that came up). But it can be found elsewhere as well.

As for Fyrom, well already they had a civil war against the MLA (KLA in fyr Macedonia) a few years ago, which resulted in changing their constitution so as to recognise albanian as a co-founding nationality. As the albanian population is set to rise to even a great percentage in the future, it is possible that the MLA will revive itself again.
Albania had been the only balkan country which was left out in the great nationalistic movements in the early 20th century (balkan wars and onwards). They are the least developed part of the region as well, and have loads of mafia problems and massive immigration to the surrounding countries. However in the case of Kosovo and Fyr Macedonia the immigrants revolted and got parts of the countries which never had belonged to them in any historic sense.

I wonder how greater Albania doesn't have Sothern Italy too :mischief:

According to this video Albania and FYROM are the same thing
