Some of the ideas in FF / FF+ are in desperate need of documentation. Oftentimes, you can flick through the Civilopedia and wonder "that sounds an interesting concept - I wonder how you get it occurs" only for the Civilopedia to be throughly useless. Equipment seems to come from various Outfitters - but the only advice is to build a Master Outfitter using a Master Outfitter, which isn't very helpful. Sometimes you'll get the message "this promotion can be gained when conditions are met" but without a definition of the conditions that leaves the player no better off.

If anyone knows how things work well enough to document them as they are - I'll be more than happy to add them to the Concepts section or the relevent 'pedia entries. Otherwise it'll be a case of waiting until things are stable/final enough to do it ourselves. As Kael once said - "it's a bit like trying to change the oil on a moving car..."

I think the most important thing is removing information that is actually false. Shadowwalk, for instance.

Then at least you can go on the forums to ask what <undocumented feature> does.

Would anyone mind writing up a list of major features that need documentation? I wouldn't mind doing it.

A concept section for Equipment promos would be nice, for example.... I can start working on that.

It's a volunteer. Quick, pounce Him. Bury him under a pile of work!

Ranged attacks
Commanders
Domination
Wall Defender promo

Every civ, both FF base, and any ones significantly modified from base (sheiam, sidar, ljosalfar, elohim, bannor, khazad, malakim, doviello, infernals) need their own general info page, giving an overview of how they play. And specific pages about each discrete unique mechanic that the civ has

Austrin:
  • Need some notes about their unique city founding method, and strategies about it. Also needs to be noted, their lack of distance maintenance.
  • A page about their recon line, including the unique upgrade paths, no terrain movement costs, free adventurer promo (and the useful tactics that come with it), possibility to gain ranged attacks.
  • A bit about the austrin lategame, including pegasi

Archos:
Info about the spider spawning mechanics, how they level up, how to improve them, etc
A general overview of the archos melee line, and their strengths

Scions
Need a TON of documentation. Thankfully, most of it already exists, so you can copy/paste stuff into the wiki. Some general info about scion strategies is needed.

Dural
An overview of their hundreds of UBs, and their religion oriented strategy.

You get the general idea, I think.
Mainly, each civ needs a general section about all their unique stuff, and how it fits into strategies using them. And individual pages about that unique stuff as applicable

I'm assuming here, that you plan to edit the FF wiki. Doing anything else doesn't seem like a good use of time, although more info in the ingame pedia would be nice too.

Actually, I was planning on concept sections for the pedia, like I did for Malakim+ and Doviello+. Easy to do, and seems more useful to me than having to minimize, and search for a weblink.
