Doesn't Geography matter anymore ?

It looks to be more of a font-size/presentation issue.

It's amazing what small things tick Marla off..

That would have been me doing some cheeky typo correcting after posting. And FWIW, although there are many quite graceful medieval maps, I think a you look nothing like one, whether it has its hair up, or down. :D

The thread title makes perfect sense with such evidence, WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?!:crazyeye:

Well, knowing how easy it is to get accurate location through the internet, we can indeed wonder how so many people, between the video game and CNN, can make such awful mistakes.

I don't ask people to know where Toulouse is, but come on ! Germany in Russia ???

OK Just a little test I found for all of us.

http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/country_europe_G2_drag-drop.swf

What was your score? (for all of us non Europeans)
I got 45 on 45. :D (in 149 seconds though...)

Anyway, I've been lucky to have to place Switzerland before Liechtenstein, I knew that the country was between Switzerland and Austria, but with none of those countries it would have been harder to locate it precisely.

I'll admit I did it months ago when I first found it. I got an 88% IIRC. Litchenstien and the correct placement of the vatican got me.
