Once the peace with the evil Persians was secured, the Don Deity immediately tried to keep the USoF competitive with the MATO also in terms of production and economy. Some huge efforts were taken and impressive buildings and monuments were created all over France:
Hastings started to build the Mount Rushmore, some lovely stone carved heads, guarding a lovely valley full of
statues
Argos, once an independent Greek city begun work on something called Wallstreet, which later should become the headquarter of ALL USoF banks and, guess what
yes
the wallstreet got decorated later with lots of beautiful statues to make it really something to remember
And even the Celtic regions should become beautiful, because a small pathway towards the icy north passing the monastery of Tolosa, where the famous spy monks lived, and still live, that proved so useful during the Celtic wars was enlarged and decorated with some of the most beautiful statues Don Deity ever created
and should from then on be called the Broadway:
And on a small island in front of the shores of London, another impressive building was created, called by Don Deity the Statue of Oppression (shortly after its completion it was renamed by Don Deitys public relations office into Statue of Liberty, for obvious reasons
) situated on a lovely island, made out of millions of smaller statues, because using these was simply cheaper then getting the needed materials the conventional way
and just to keep the waist as low as possible, the leftovers from the statues that werent needed for the Statue of Opp

Libery were used to decorate the University of London
but some vandals wasted it all by spraying Oxford onto the big white door from the main entrance with black letters

Most of the other cities in France hadnt that much luck and werent exactly becoming more beautiful
to be honest, most of them were becoming quite stinky and smoggy
building mainly factories and other production boosting stuff.
But it all followed a higher goal, because as the years passed the USoF scientist uncovered the secret of flight, and not much latter also the concept of sticking extremely dangerous rockets to flying stuff, allowing them to build gunships
which was considered by Don Deity and General Supersnaat a great achievement. And even better was the fact that the surviving soldiers from the battalions of cavalry proved to be pretty good at flying these new war machines
maybe riding and shooting wasnt much different then flying and shooting in the end.
And so it came that only after about 60 years of peace the USoF army invaded Persia again, this time with the ultimate goal to end the cruel Persian oppression once and forever
And in the outskirts of Arbela, the first major battle took place. About 20 battalions of USoF gunships, backed by some battalions of artillery and infantry faced about the same number of Persian defenders, but these were lacking gunships. It was a long and brutal fight, lasting almost two weeks. The USoF soldiers advanced step by step, but the Persian defenders simply wouldnt give up. Then, after 12 days of fighting, General Supersnaat led the final air strike himself, with his brand new gunship (actually, it was already his 3rd gunship, because for unknown reasons he wasnt so skilled in flying them and had crashed the first two right into the ground, only some seconds after taking off
)
When the dust settled, there were no more Persian battalions left to face the USoF army. The few Persian survivors fled to a mountain range near Arbela and could only watch the USoF army marching towards Persepolis and Pasardadae, leaving a trail of death and destruction along their path. But the losses on the USoF side had also been numerous, 5 entire battalions of gunships (+ the two General Supersnaat had devastated all by himself) had been lost, 3 battalions of artillery and another 4 battalions of infantry were gone.
But apparently, Cyrus hadnt been caught as much by surprise as General Supersnaat and Don Deity had hoped
the same day the USoF soldiers crossed the Persian border near Arbela, the Persian army marched for Bremen
and the defenders there stood no chance, Bremen was under Persian control again
There Germans tried to launch a major counterattack, consisting of a battalion of cavalry and one of grenadiers
but
well
General Supersnaat and Don Deity deemed their chances to recapture the city

not so high
Around the same time the USoF army was marching again, another big revolution swept all over the USoF countries:
The concept of Mercantilism was incorporated, not only in England but in ALL USoF member states (Don Deity had a pretty direct political approach to that: switch government NOW to Mercantilism or die
please), to form a stable block that could cope with the threat of the MATO countries, running Fee Market amongst all their members.
In general, everything was going more or less according to plan, with his army marching for central Persia and the reinforcement lines carefully planned this time and fully operational...
up to the moment, a messenger from Knossos burst into the room where Don Deity was just sitting having an apply pie and some green tea:

a huge Persian fleet has popped out of nowhere
and immediately has begun to laying siege on Knossos with the whole English fleet trapped there in the harbour
and to make things even worse, the Persians are already controlling the beach west of Knossos
apparently preparing everything to launch an assault on the city itself while their warships are blowing our defences there to dust
Don Deity was furious
even after he had turned the damn messenger into stone and thrown him out of the window personally, watching the statue smash on the pavement and scatter into thousands of peaces
NOT again
first, Bismarck had managed to launch a surprising ambush on Knossos, cutting off the USoF reinforcement routes, forcing him to stop the war without advancing into central Germany and without capturing their capital
and now Cyrus is trying the same again
how could the Greek, Celt and German navy let slip through a whole fleet
