They seem to have the same departure point, regardless of where you leave from on the east coast. You always get routed through Atlantic Ave, Central St, Long Wharf in Boston even if you leave from Key West, Florida.

Doesn't seem to work for the Pacific. I tried to go to Pitcairn Island and Tokyo from Kansas City with no success.
