Hy... My first post on this forum, and only cos of Your great mod :)

First, thank you for a great mod...

1. Also I have experienced a lagy graphics, it was solved by defragmentation, even if other bigger mods didnt suffer from the same problem and fragmentation was low...

2.Ninja a UU of China... Er, Ninjas where in Japan (assassins/spy)... (dont know if anyone allready wrote this in 70 pages)

3. I tried to replace the Israels flag with a Israeli flag with David star (flag from Diversica) and always the flag was purple... Dont know how to fix that...

4. Also Russia can found Judaism and Budism... Maybe it would be better if Judaism and Christianity... Because they are Christians...

5.Why it is only 2 religions limit per civ? always want to have Judaism, Christianity and Islam in Jerusalem...

6. Is it possible somehow to remove the random city selection of holy city when i build the religion discovery? So that the city in which I build it becomes a Holy city?

Mod is awsome... Cant wait for a new version, thank you very much for a great mod. It ran with Revolutions turned on for 2 games on overlord time and on huge map without any crashes...

thanks for the kind compliments,

1. laggy . hummm.....i dont like this very much, im trying to make the mod faster not slower, i will look into it, if you keep having problems, you can do several things -
play in windowed mode or play with lower graphic settings, i myself like to play windowed mode alot.

2. yeah...i agree wth the ninja...will change it to v 1.8

3. can you link me with the flag you want? id be happy to swap it.

5. well, thats my "crazy" religion system...i like limited religions...if you wish you can add/change the settings through the xml, its not hard, just add the founding building of the desired religion into the speciphic civ you want in the file civiliztionsinfo.xml.

6. well i wish i knew how....

im very exicted to hear you played 2 games with revolutions without a crash,
i seem to be getting rendom ctds in my early 1/8, but i suspect i know why.

say.....anyone wants super spies?

Ty for explaining how to change religion choices, will do it.

Like I wrote, the lagy gameplay was fixed with defragmentation of the HD...

tonight I will test how it works in MP...

thank you for playing!

i would really like to know if it works on mp!!

make sure your not playing with revolution mod and any of its componants -barbarian civ and tech fusion , also - disable everything of dales escept ranged bombardment,
with this setting, thers no reason it wont work.

plz let me know :)

So... we played for about 3 hours, classic MP huge map, LAN game, just dales components where active... No problems there... (one crash on second computer, but that was mem dump) 2 human players 9 AI...

For lagy gameplay, saw that reducing the Anti aliasing from 16 to 2, did the trick, so no more lagy gameplay, but still wonder movies are... Will try to reduce there quality and see if it helps...

Also, played a SP map, with just dales and Barb civ, and locked modified assets, at 940 AD the game crashes and no matter what I try, it doesnt work, I still havent made any changes to any file in the mod...

ok...mp works, thats good,

the crash, yeah im getting it to around 800-900 turns,

for next version, im gonna ake ure the game is without any crashes, if it means taking out revolution mod, and more i will take it out,
my moto has always been a stable ctd free game.

ive took out revolution mod along with assimilation mod,

im not experiencing ctds anymore.
 
Hy...

I just finished a new game... time victory... Didnt crash, just this time i didnt have locked modified assets all other option were flaged... Or I was just lucky... Could it be, that locked modified assets are making problems?

Also several mods have crashed sometimes with that option on...
 
I do get the occasional CTD with Revolutions on, but it's non-repeatable so I just pick up where I left off.

I have noticed a bug with the Revolutions component. A revolution will occur on a civ, a new civ will emerge (with no units), and then be instantly destroyed, with some units in some cities in the host civ taking minor damage. Is this supposed to happen?

well it seems too me that you are lucky,

what settings are you playing with except locked mod assets?
are you playing with influence driven war? opp fire or/and opp fire?

well i dunno really... i never played it myself and i barley know its features,
i think for 1.8, ill make rev mod as an optional addon,

so far im testing the stability, and opp fire, archer bomb along with acticdefense, are defentley causeing a crash,
im continue to test combination ofthe componants to track which is the most problematic,

i deepley suspect idw does not go well with dales mod comp.
 
ok... If i lock modified assets and it crashes i cant resume... otherwise i can resume the game normaly (reload autosave)...

-so no locked assets and a possibility to cheat is ON :(

Played with:
AI auto play
Barbarian Civ
Revolution
TechDiffusion
AirBombing
Battle Effects
Ranged bombardment
and all IDW exc. IDW Active city resistance...

and also wonder movies are always lagy... even reducing the video setings didnt work...

anyway,
im glad to say ive traced the ctd causing componant in my latest version,

its the jculturecontrol mod,

so i removed it, now ill reintegrate revolution mod, cause ive tested 2500 turns without a ctd with plain revdcm 0.94.

so id call that some good news :)
 
good and bad news,

i now after tons of hours, finally got to a version that works like magic, did 2500 turns, and not one single ctd.
thanks god!,

but, i had to remove the revolution componant,

i hope i ca use jculture control, not sure of it stability yet,
more tests will be made,
after i stablize the version for no ctds,
ill start working on adding new stuff .

hope i still have fans here :)

you still have fans hoping for new experiences in this incredible mod! don't give up, you're doing an excellent work! when we're can see the next version? cheers from spain!!

P.D.: The Giant Earth Map that posted Bastian works great in Overlord, you should add it for the next version...

ive been working really hard everyday of the past week to fix the mod, and take out all of the ctds,
atlast the mod is now super stable, you can play up to 3000 turns without a crash.

by now i added yhese:
jculturecontrol
assimilation
bug 3
another religion.

gonna add:
almost everycontent from the mole pack by zulu
more units
more mercs
more techs
more buildings
fix unit sizes
fix speeds more
and many tweaks.



i had to remove revolution mod, it causes a random crash...soryy guys,
but,
im thinking of making a revolution and super spies addon for those who want it.


and offcouse bastians earth map will be in the new version,

im taking the time on this version,
because i want to make it near prefection !


it will be releaed on mid september i belive.
 
Honestly, I would probably stop playing this if it didn't have revolutions. I honestly can't seem myself playing a game without it now.

i thought bout it the passed day,
and i wont release the mod without revolutions, because:

1. i love it two , too much, so im not cabble of letting it go...

2. i tested revdcm alot - and its rather stable

3. i found two bugs that causes ctds in my files.

so....
dont abandon me yet :)


are you making a new mole??
