I have Fort Knox set to obsolete with Globalisation. With it set to Corporation I never build it. It's just too expensive and obsolete way too soon.

I've been advised for the last FIVE MILLION GAME TURNS that there has been a "violent revolution in the English Empire". With victory horns ! Thank Keldath it wasn't with those damned Shinto claves. Dear K. How do we turn it off ?

Does nobody else get this problem ????? Doesn't it drive anyone else potty ???
I don't just mean the horns - you shouldn't get an alert very GT for ever...!!

If someone can gimme a clue I'll try and investigate.....
 
And more 'weird things' reporting.

I'm playing a game in which the English Empire has been destroyed. But every so often this 'corpse' declares war on me, immediately followed by an announcement that it has been destroyed - again ! Now I don't believe there is an 'undead' attribute in any of the xml so 'wassap' ??

what did you ment with fort knox? what do i need to do?

and your saying you destroyed the english and they returned?
i guess this can happen when theres a revolution, maybe it spawns a civ that is not in the game - including a dead one...

Horns. Ok. I'll keep trying. Just can't believe I'm the only one being bugged by it....

Oh. I also suggest change the Galleas to appear with 'tech_machinery' and give it combat 5. There's no point (IMHO) in waiting until gunpowder as you may well have both the caravel and the galleon (!!) by then. Don't worry about guns and gunpowder, the caravel and galleon are pre-gunpowder anomalies anyway !

Hello all- I've been playing med total war 2 most of the year and am taking a break to get back to civ IV and this mod.
Weird thing that happened when I started a new game with 1.8/ I researched religion techs first and was unable to discover any of them/ judaism/ hinduism/ buddhism//// ..i figured I was just beat out by the ai - so i started a new game with just my civ- no competition. and still did not discover these religions even though I was the only one in the game...
did I forget something about the game since i haven't played in awhile? lol.
is there a setting somewhere thats turned off for religions? I have all victory
boxes checked to on.
 
Each civ can only discover 2 religions. Take a look at the civs description, which "discover religion" building they can build.

What you do is: get to one of that two religion techs first, and build the building -> voila, you discover the religion.
 
Thanks for the reply- I must have missed out on alot- I don't remember it being that way? I recall before just researching the tech and once finished-you get the notice that you discovered that particular religion- is it the mod that limits the religion to certain civ? or BTS? playing as the Holy Roman Empire for the first time- I did get druidism..yet I didn't see an icon to build its holy center with a prophet... man Im way out of touch nowadays with this game... doh!

hmm- looked in the mods/docs files for a readme on the religion changes but couldnt find anything..
ill keep looking//
 
I downloaded the mod the other day, and just looked through the docs folder and there is no file on how the religions work. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I searched through the files for religion and all I got was passing mention of religion in other pieces of mods.

that very soon im going to start a mod for colonization,
gonna get the game and start working,
ill try to implement most of civ4 bts popullar mods to it.
i need a lot of brain storming for the mods concept :).
 
You might work with promotions instead of different unist, have you seen how FfH2 handles different metals for weapons?
 
I'm currently downloading the latest version of your mod here, and so far from what I've been hearing, your doing a pretty good job on this. Once I download this game, I'm going to post some nice ideas to help improve this game. I wonder if you add any good events for every era, and i wish to know where do I go to increase the amount of events to occur so that I get more events more often to keep me interested then getting bored under heavy lag on my PoS computer I got.

Currently, I am thinking of a future era and the space era. If you already implanted the future era, I want it to become more bigger. I explain to you the idea once I thought of enough ideas to expand it. Along with the space age where you can make space ships, mobile suits, and special new technology troops.
