hi, glad to see your trying out my mod, dont forget to use the patch also.

so, about events,
i cant remmber if i added the event mod, though i wanted to , i made a complete overhull to my mod structre, so i might have left the events out, not sure.

if you wish to increace or add events, through the event xml files, its not to difficult i belive.

well my era future is somewhat "thin" for now, it includes most of the next war techs and some more i added along with future units thats ive added.

i would really appriciate any thought and idea you have to offer, hope you enjoy this.

ive already started to work on patch b:

-greatly reduced resource abundunce - i made some oredr in apearnce of all resources,
theres much less res on the map - less mess and redundency of too much res.

-tweaked speeds to be better, im checking each and everyone so ill be sure the costs, research and groth are optimized.

-added 2 levels of sea level - very lowand very very low - it give you the opprtuinity to play i a ap with more land mass in it or almost no sea.

-also made some more balance tweaks - like normal settler cost.

-more to come.

Look bro. I'm up to my neck in work stuff right now. Can't find much quality time to spend 'tidying up' and working on some ideas for OL.

That said - I started a new game with the patch and had a CTD in - like GT2 - when I entered a city screen. Thought "Damn!". Turned on python message monitoring and started again. Since then - no problem ! And I can't belieeeeeve how FEW python errors pop up. Some. So the message after this long-winded blah is the mod seems to be SOOOOO STABLE !!! ExcellEnt!!!

I'll get back to nagging about your use of English asap !!

alrighty, I tired out your mod and spotted a TXT on druidism when you build the apostle palace, and also the Mayans declared war but the score didn't got the war symbol as I was playing as the Americans. It's kinda funny that they declared war, then after I finished the war, France and the Aztec declared war on me the dame time, and they are not in any alliance or vessel. the Mayans ask me to be their vassal and I agreed, then I capitalized both the Aztecs and France, I almost wiped out France, and took over the France lands with American cities, and only conquered and razed two cities of the Aztec before they agreed with the Capitalize.

I got one idea, and this was used on the Total War mod we have, can you please make a name generation on the ocean seas, the lakes, and the continents so that it add a better feel, somewhat like you did when you can spot if it's our farm or it's their own farm.

i never had a crash in ol 1.8, played thousends of turns...but i also play with python errors on - and get then everynow and then.

well, missing txt is the biggest thing my mod misses, making texts taking too much time so i wont do it..

also - missing war icon - thats because bug mod made ir this way - you can change it bacj to normal via bug screen.

that idea is cool, but it will requaire someone that knows sdk, which i dint know how .
 
Is there no Holy City Shrine for Druidism? In my current game I am ze french and a got druidism and then popped a prophet and there does not seem to be a listing for that religion. Also, I have played 2 games, and there seems to be a problem with the alert for violent revolution, as the Portugese had one and every turn the alert comes up and the same happened with the French in a previous game, right from the early game, is there a way to disable that? Otherwise, amazing Mod, thanks for all your hard work and keep it up!!

as for the shrine, i wasnt aware, ill fix it to the next patch that i will release in a few days.

the alert for the revolutin, well.. this one im not sure how can i fix that, cause its originated in the revolution mod it self, ill try to see what can i do with it.

Hey Zagaz. Thanks for the backup on that revolution alert ! K. I actually stopped playing cuz that damned horn was driving me nuts and no-one seemed to want to help. Every turn. Waaah. (Well. O.K...... and I just bought 'Colonization'.....)
 
keldath, what might be worthwhile would be to ake your work modular. This way other modders can use it.

well, i have no choise, to check this horn thing,
when i ran revolution on, i got alot of python errors,

ill try and see what creates that sound and do somthing bout it.

i also played colonization at a friend of mine,
i actually think, its a big disssapointment,
its a buetyful game, with great micro manage,
but the game isnt hard, and most of allllllllll its boriiing!

i tought of making it as a modular, but its alot of work.........and im too lazy to do it man....
i have one free month off school, and i dont wanna spend it all on making modulars...
 
ok, id like to introduce the new mod:

"morning star"

this mod will include almost all od overlord2 modcomponants,

and will be a middle ages mod theme - top units will be horses and such.

i started developing it,
ideas for units and buildings and so on will be welcomed.
 
Medievil mod sounds neat, more units always fun. I ran into another oddity, and I posted it on the Revolution thread as I believe it is related to their code. I play with minor civs, and sometimes when in the renaissance era, a civ will appear, and they will be in the late industrial, verge of modern era, I am still working on gunpowder and democracy and such, and I have to fund them and kill them before they suddenly start producing tanks or infantry, in a previous game, I just barely detroyed the celts before their only city was set to produce a tank and steam roll everyone's macemen. Has anyone else encountered this? Here is a save.

I do wish that someone got the time to reorganized the World Builder, all the new religious buildings be next to the last ones and all so that it won't be difficult searching though all of them.

For whatever its worth, CivGold works flawlessly, ROM syncs out ALOT !

But boy do me and my son love your mod ! Unfortunately, when we play on LAN we play with CivGold which is also very good- just doesn't have all those amazing 'bells and whistles'...
