@Ozymandas
I've read that at oen time there was a sub specieas of northafrican elephant that could be, and was domesticated for military purposes)

Yes, there was a (now extinct) sub-species of North African elephant, which was the breed Hannibal famously rode through the alps. There was also a (again now extinct) Syrian elephant which was used by the Ptolymies et. al. It is the sub-Saharan African elephant which is not domesticable.

Ehm, sorry if my first post is a correction of someone but :

1) Cougar/Mountain lion are different names for the Puma, nothing to do with Panthers

I meant Cougar/Mountain Lion/Puma, not Panther. Sorry for the mistake. I mentioned Panthers later.

2) A Panther is simply a black Leopard (so i think it's the third "big cat" ?)

Yeah, I think your right. Its been a long time since I went to the Zoo, though ;)

3) The Jaguar is about the same size of a Leopard, perhaps slightly smaller, but is larger than a Puma

Nature's third largest cat—after the tiger and the lion—the jaguar can survive in a variety of terrain ranging from swamplands to drought-stricken country.

I just clicked on the first link in a google search for "Jaguar third largest cat", so the whole page isn't important.

And i continue on this, sorry :(

Its funny sometimes how a discussion heads (completely my fault, btw). At least the normal conversation is continuing.

But lets stop this discussion and get back to what's really important. Elephant-riding Aztecs. ;)

Yay!!! Did you get enough info in the Carthaginian units thread to work on a Balearic Slinger and a Numidian Horseman?

My priority list is already worked out... but I actually have a number of them that are already completed. I just need to actually make the FLIC files. Those will be done first.

This wasn't really a question of releasing in packs as I just didn't really want to do the FLIC conversion because it's a pain...

But the units that are almost done are the Knight of Anubis, Velites, Zebra Rider (first generation), Koguryo Soldier, Mongol Cavalry, the Native American Hunter, and the Tang Cavalry (horseman replacement). Those are the ones that are already rendered. And I'm going to try to render the Hwarang ASAP. It was, as I've said, already done, but the problem was the choice of blue as the default color, so I have to change it to lime green.

You and Aaglo are my favorite unit creators DPII, since your units are all badly needed and orginal, plus you actually respond to my messages, unlike other people on this board who shall remain nameless.....

When you Hwarang is out I'm going to remind Aluminum about the Korean War Wagon.....

Thank you, I appreciate that.

About the Korean War Wagon, I've looked online and I've never been able to find anything outside of AoE about this weapon...

If anyone has any info on the wagon, I'd like to see it.

I think the War Wagon was based on conjecture about possible units the innovative Koreans may have developed. Although its a fact China and Korean had developed primitive rockets during the Middle Ages, I'm not sure they fired them from horse-drawn carrages. But the creativity of man is such that I wouldn't be surprised if I found that they indeed did make such contrapsions...who knows?

About the encouragement...its no problem...just remember, I mean what I say, I was not speaking in jest as they say...
