Here's the best part. Look at the status screen. It shows that both Khemri and Us have 10 quest peices. Unless I'm mistaken, that means that Khemri built the last peice on THE SAME TURN as me, but since i'm the player, I got the first turn and clicked Dominate first. I've never seen a game that close.

And here's the end game power. You can see where the orcs were kicking my butt towards the end.
