what if the line is like this

hoplite, auxilria, scutatio, roman pikeman
but i still like
hoplite, auxilria, roman pikeman, scutatio

and i was also thinking that they need another horse unit cuz they are stuck with a 3/2 calvary the rest of the game maybe they can have the

furn horseman with riding 2/1
the civ3 ancient calvary with chivalry 3/2
then the furn calvary at stirups or calvary tactics 5/2
how about that??
 
Other suggestion: have Roman as polyvalent unit, with a main line
Mirmillon --> Early republic legionnary --> Late republic legionnary --> Imperial Legionnary --> Auxiliari --> Roman pike

And a second line of support unit with Velite and later Auxiliary archer
 
this is what i was thinking about goblins and orcs today

i think you should use the wolfrider that embryodead made to go with riding
and push the current wolfrider to chivalry and give the warg rider only to the warg goblins at chivalry

and for the orcs you should have them use the boar riders and boar chariot

and also replace the wolf resource with "beasts" like the WH mod did
 
I am already planning on replacing the warg rider with spider riders for the Tang Zul Goblins. I would be willing to replace the warg riders with another unit for Gashmog goblins if I can find something good to replace them with.
I also want regular wolf riders to stay with the Riding tech for the purpose of game balance.

As for the orcs, I don't plan on using boar riders and boar chariot. I think I will keep wolves/wargs for them.

Lastly as for resources, I don't plan on changing them at least until I complete the first full version of Dragonia. I have enough "scope creep" already with many great units being released all the time. :)

and what resource is gonna be needed to make the spider rider, spiders? and ive never played as the lizards but what do they ride?
 
Embyodead's wolf riders are currently used for the gnoll and orc wolfriders. So, it sounds like to accomplish this, I would need to find another rider unit for the orcs (not boars).

The spider rider will use the exotic animal resource (looks like an egg).

Lizards ride on a giant lizard (Stegadon Rider)
 
ok another thing why do the elves only get farming? I think humans should at least get it too

and whats the official offensive and defensive lines for the furn? and are you considering my calvary ideas?
 
Human civs that have farming are: Isendorf, Paladorn, Wei, Undgu, Jihish, and Matsujima
Human civs that have mining are: Furn, Sundabar, and Thay

Final melee units for Furn will be:
Hastati - Metalworking - 2/2/1/30 (Copper)
Principes - Ironworking - 3/3/1/50 (Iron)
Buccellarii -Weaponcraft - 3/4/1/50 (Iron)
Legionary - Weaponcraft - 4/3/1/50 (Iron)
Auxiliria - Impressment - 2/4/1/30 (Copper)
Centurion - Magic Items - 5/4/1/50 (Mithril)
Hvy Legionary - Adv Military Tactics - 6/3/1/70 (Mithril)
Furn Pikeman - Defensive Tactics - 3/6/1/50 (Mithril)

Also, Furn already has a unique cavalry unit as well as a unique rider unit
 
I've just completed some new advisor screens for the mod. Still have to finish the science advisor screen. I think I will release my new advisor buttons as a seperate plugin as well.:mischief:

oh ok no big deal.

but i think the undead should still play a role in the dragonia world so maybe a cool wonder that produces undead warriors for an evil civ.

I have been doing quite a bit of work on the civilopedia this past weekend.
The latest version is attached to this post.

The biggest thing needed right now is new entries for the units and cleanup of existing unit entries to remove references to real world civs. Unit entries are split into two...the first is under the heading #PRTO_<UnitName> This is the main page for the unit entry. The second is under the heading #DESC_PRTO_<UnitName>. This second section is for the description page.
